But Lincoln intercepted her, his eyes dark and filled with fury as he glared at her.
“Rosemary! Are you out of your mind? How dare you act like this in front of Laura?”
“You even think about laying a hand on her, and I’ll make you regret it! Get out of my sight!”
Perhaps my previous leniency had emboldened Rosemary, making her believe I was an easy target.
Today, however, as her vile curses continued to spill forth, I decided it was time to put an end to her antics.
I signaled my assistant, who stepped forward and tossed a stack of photos onto the ground.
The images showed Rosemary kissing one of Lincoln’s groomsmen, as well as intimate moments with various wealthy young men.
Lincoln’s eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the photos, his expression one of sheer rage and devastation.
He had genuinely believed that, at the very least, Rosemary had true feelings for him.
Even though he knew about her past indiscretions, he had chosen to marry her for the sake of the child.
But now, it was clear–it was all a complete lie.
To Rosemary, Lincoln had simply been the easiest and most gullible target among her many conquests.
For the first time, Lincoln seemed to truly understand what betrayal felt like.
His eyes reddened with fury as he grabbed Rosemary by the collar.
“You lied to me! You said you only loved me, but you’ve been with so many other men!”
He cast a sharp glance at her stomach.
“Don’t tell me the baby isn’t mine either!”
Rosemary let out a wild laugh. “Why else would I pick you? You’re stupid and easy to fool!”
“Anyway, I’ve already married you. The child is part of the Winston family now!”
At her words, Lincoln’s gaze turned dark and menacing.
In a fit of rage, he shoved Rosemary hard to the side.
She fell heavily to the ground, and blood quickly stained the pristine white of her wedding gown.
Gasps and murmurs rippled through the crowd of onlookers in the airport.

“Oh my God, someone call the police… She looks like she’s miscarrying!”
Rosemary lay on the floor, clutching her stomach, her face pale as a sheet.
“You killed our child with your own hands?! You’ll face retribution for this!”
Lincoln, however, remained unfazed, his expression growing even more deranged.
“That was no child–it was a cursed spawn! If anyone deserves retribution, it’s you!”
Just as he turned to leave, Rosemary grabbed his sleeve in a death grip.
Without warning, she pulled out a bottle of liquid from somewhere.
As she flung it toward him, the acrid smell of strong acid filled the air.
Lincoln’s jacket instantly corroded, the acid burning through to his back. He let out a pained hiss, his face contorted in agony.
The bodyguards, finally reacting, rushed to subdue Rosemary and restrain her.
Moments later, an ambulance and the police arrived, taking both of them away.
I later heard that Lincoln had received timely medical treatment. The burns on his back were minor, leaving only a small scar.
As for Rosemary, she lost the baby.
Both were convicted of intentional assault and sentenced to three years in prison.
Rosemary was also sued for divorce and left the Winston family with nothing.
Despite this, she refused to sign the papers, vowing to stay in the family out of spite.
The next news I heard about Lincoln was that he was struck by lightning during a rainy day.
As if fate wasn’t finished with him, he was electrocuted when he fell, and he ultimately passed away.
Jasper, worried that these sordid events might upset me, cleared his schedule and planned a globe–trotting trip for
