Alayah didn’t get any information from our prisoner and she handed further interrogations to Hondo. Not that she couldn’t handle it, but she wanted to move forward with the case against Crimson Moon Pack and knowing what was still in her office she asked Bastian who would be the best person for the job.
The last two days we spent with reading through all the files and dividing them into the crates. We had all sighed in relief when the last file disappeared into a crate, but Nathan had bursted our bubble when he mentioned that there were rows of filing cabinets in the Archive. Noah had accused him of exaggerating and Nathan had dragged us all down to the Archive.
Elder Aimi and Elder Mathass arrived this morning, they will help us in presenting this case to Crimson Moon Pack and to strip the entire leadership of their titles. Not that they have anyone other than Marc and Alpha Randell, because both lost their Beta to the one person that tried to ease the workload Marc would gèt as an Alpha.
“Is everyone ready to hear how this will be handled?” Elder Mathass asks and we all look at him to get the instructions we need. Elder Mathass uses an old case that Blood Stone Pack handled months before Alayah’s Great Great–grandmother died and he handles every aspect of the case.
The male that got convicted for allowing a Mate–bond to form with his Stepsister, how the male ended up at Blood Stone Pack, how Alayah’s Great Great–grandmother knew he was telling the truth, how Blood Stone Pack moved in on the Pack that committed the crime and then how they delivered the case and the punishment.
The story had no happy ending for anyone involved, because by the time they had arrived at the Pack the male’s Mate had committed suicide. It took the testimony of an Omega to find the truth to that tragic event, it had been her responds to finding out that her Mate was dead and without a mark she hadn’t known it was a lie.
None of the Pack–members had known the real reason he was convicted, only the Alpha and his Son were aware of the true reason and both were stripped of their title for not following the Law. The Beta took over as Alpha and even though there have been minor incidents since, he never broke a Law himself.
“Okay. Now that we know how to handle this, I have a question. How fast can we get this show on the road?” Alayah asks and a second later we hear a siren go off. Grandpa rushes to the window with a huge smile on his face and I hear Dad gasp the moment he looks out the window. It is as if that was a sign for au of us to get up and as one we walk to look out the window.
Lycans come running to the Pack–house from every direction and within ten minutes there must be at least a hundred of them lined up. “Fuck, that looks amazing.” Alayah whispers as she places a hand against the window and I smile as I feel the excitement she feels through our bond.
“Your Warriors are ready, Alpha.” Bastian says as he looks down at the Warriors and Alayah turns to him, not sure if she should believe/him. “A second Squad will follow you after half an hour, they will be your back–up. I doubt you will need them, but it is just a precaution.” Uncle Josh says.
I have been to a few different Packs in my life and I have seen a part of their Warriors assembled on the training grounds, but none of them were as impressive as the Warriors I am looking at right now.
“Lets go downstairs to inform them of their assignment, Beau and Dallas will inform our back–up and Hondo will stay behind to keep interrogating our prisoner. Dad will look after the rest of the Pack.” Bastian says as he turns away from the window and I guide Alayah to the door, I want to know how this will work

Alayah walks towards the Warriors and we, as her Mates, are right behind her. “Goodmorning, I know that this is the first time for each of you to respond to the siren. We have finally managed to get through all the files against Crimson Moon Pack and we will be heading out as soon as we can. I am not expecting much resistance from their Warriors, but I still ask you to watch your back and that of the Lycans around you.
Elder Aimi and Elder Mathass will be joining us on this trip and they will help me to bring justice for all the Wolves and Lycans that Crimson Moon Pack wronged, it has been long overdue.” Alayah says and even though there are a hundred Lycans standing in front of her, you can hear a pin drop.
One of the Lycans in the front row takes a step forward, “Alpha, we all vowed to protect the innocent. All of us have been wronged by a Pack, either through our ancestors or as an individual and we are grateful that you are willing to take the responsibility that comes with accepting your rightful place as our Alpha. We swear that we will protect you, your Mates and your Pups with our lives.” He says.
The moment he finishes speaking all hundred Lycans drop to one knee, repeating the last words that were spoken. “We swear to protect our Alpha, her Mates and her Pups with our dying breath.”
Through the Mate–bond I can feel that my Mate, my Brothers and I feel the same thing, amazement and gratitude for the vow they just spoke. I know I will be more at ease when we travel to other Packs to deliver justice and I will sleep a lot better knowing that this Pack will do everything they can to protect their Alpha.
The Warriors divide themselves into three groups; the first group will follow us to Crimson Moon Pack, the second group will follow Bastian to guard the north side of the territory and the third group will follow Austin to guard the west side of the territory. We are not to worried about the east side of the territory, because it is Autumn Pack territory.
Unlike last time, we don’t have to make a stop along the way and with a little luck we will arrive at our destiny before dinner. Dad informed Alpha Gordon to be at the gate to Crimson Moon Pack with Crystal, but to stay out of sight and even though I know he had questions he didn’t ask them.
Mom and Dad have been arguing all morning, yeah we finally decided to call her Mom. We thought it was a bit funny that Alayah calls our Father Dad, while we keep calling her Mother Mara. I don’t know who was more surprised, but Alayah and Mom both were happy to hear us call her Mom.
Mom wants to come with us to Crimson Moon Pack, but Dad is reluctant to let her come with us. She actually punched his lights out when he didn’t object to Grandma coming along and Noah has been trying to figure out why Dad is so against Mom joining us. Mom is getting angrier by the minute and I wonder how long it will take before one of them says something hurtful to the other.
“Xavier, if you leave for Crimson Moon without me, don’t bother coming back.” Mom says as she turns her back on him and walks back into the Pack–house. This time it is Alayah he has to deal with as she uses her Alpha aura to bring him to his knees, none of us interfere or say something.
“Dad, you know why Mom wants to come along and she has every right to want answers. If you don’t like that I suggest you stay here and don’t come anywhere near Mom. IS THAT CLEAR?” She roars the last sentence at him and it seems our Mate found out something that is bothering Mom.
“Baby Girl, I know she deserves answers. I just fear she might not like the answer and attacking an Alpha is punishable by death.” Dad manages to say and Alayah quickly reels in her Alpha aura. “I have been trying to tell her that, but she never lets me finish speaking. I fear for her safety and nothing else.” Dad says before he gets up and from the corner of my eyes I see Mom with a hand covering her mouth.
I don’t think Mom thought of what might happen if she found an answer, “I’m sorry.” She whispers as she walks into Dad’s open arms, he doesn’t say anything as he hugs her.

As soon as Bastian’s group has moved into the SUVs, they take off. Austin’s group leaves almost ten minutes later and our group follows fifteen minutes after that. It will give both other groups the time to take up their positions along the territory and in those fifteen minutes Alayah informed our back–up about the assignment we have planned for today.
