Chapter 384 Fish
Nero’s p.o.v.
I wake in the morning with my Mate sprawled over my chest and I bury my nose in her hair, thinking about the past few days. We have been here for three days and a lot has happened in those three days, but I also know we are not there yet.
I hope that we are able to find out anything about what happened yesterday with Molly’s schedule, I don’t like it that someone is trying to get our Pack–members scared of us and I hope we can find answers before we have to leave for Crimson Moon Pack.
If my calculations of the remaining files is close enough, than we will be done by the end of today and after that we can start preparing for our trip back to Crimson Moon Pack. Damn, I have to ask Uncle Josh or Grandpa if we need to inform the Elders when we are going to dish out justice and if they might join us when we do that.
“I am going to find Anton and Bastian, see if they have found some answers yet.” Noah says through the mind–link as he gets out of bed and I chuckle softly because I can’t go anywhere until our Princess wakes up. I close my eyes again, just enjoying the feeling of holding my Mate and I wrap my arms around her just a little tighter.
Once Alayah has woken up we get out of bed to face another day and after having breakfast in our own dining room we head down to the Alpha office. Miku growls in my head when I let my eyes glide over all the crates in the office and I know I made a huge miscalculation, this is going to take a lot longer than I thought. We might be able to shift through the files today, but making a case that we can present to the entire Pack is going to take a lot longer.
I walk to the crates that hold the files we already have gone through and I am surprised to see the different crimes that were committed. Last night Anton decided we needed to reduce the amount of different crimes to the Law they fall under, it brought back the amount of crates we had to divide the files and that will make this a bit easier.
Some files could be places under multiple Laws and we chose to put them under the Law with the heaviest punishment, but a sticky note is on those with each other Law that was broken. I just hope that Crimson Moon Pack is the only Pack that has this much to go through and that we can get our lives into some kind of routine fast, but something tells me I shouldn’t hold my breath.
“Found it.” Bastian says as he walks into the office and without saying another word he sits down behind Alayah’s desk. He is typing away on his laptop and suddenly he turns it towards us, we step closer to take a look at what he found. Footage from a camera somewhere in this office start playing, I growl the moment I recognize Bree and she sits down behind the desk to open the laptop.
She doesn’t seem to worried about anyone walking in and when I look at the time in the bottom right corner I understand, most of the Pack was still fast asleep at that time. Her head turns towards the door after a minute or two and another female walks in, they talk for a few minutes before the female leaves again and Bree turns her attention to the laptop again.
“Bree changed the schedule, but I don’t understand why. You already told her she is moving to another Pack and putting fear into the Pack–members doesn’t make sense.” Bastian says after he has shown us the rest of the footage. “Every Pack–member saw and heard what you did after you became the Alpha, they know you won’t stand for any misbehavior towards Pack–members. So, why did she do this?”
I let the footage run through my mind again to see if I can find something we have overlooked, but it is Miku that points something out to me. “Who was the female that entered the office?” I ask Bastian, because I don’t remember seeing her during the meeting and when I think a little bit harder I realize I didn’t see

“Never mind, I think I already know and that brings me to my next question. Where were the Omegas during the Pack meeting?” I ask as I look at Bastian and by looking at him I can see that he came to the same conclusion I did, they never attended the meeting.
Suddenly the door to the office flies open and Uncle Josh rushes into the office with a strange look on his face, “What did I do wrong, Alayah?” He asks as he looks at her.
I am not sure who is more curious about what happened, but everyone is staring from Uncle Josh to Alayah and it isn’t difficult to see that even Alayah doesn’t fully understand what is going on. “You used your Alpha command through the mind–link.” Uncle Josh clarifics and our
her face in Nathan’s chest.

“Dad, how did you announce the meeting to the Pack?” Bastian asks the million dollar question.
“I ordered everyone that was relieved of duty to come to the Pack–hou
and that the meeting was mandatory for every other Pack–member.” Uncle Josh says and that leaves us with even more questions. If he announced that the meeting was mandatory, the Omegas should have been there and then they would have known everything that had been said.
I am trying to figure out why they didn’t show up for the meeting, but if Uncle Josh used those exact words, and I am positive he did, than that means that everyone should have been present. “Uncle Josh, I need you to think real hard before you answer me. Why were the Omegas not at the meeting?” Alayah asks and no one says a word as we can all see that Uncle Josh is really focused.
From the corner of my eye I see Bryson leaving the office, but he doesn’t look back to see if anyone notices. “Could Bryson be behind this?” I ask Miku, but something tells me that I am looking in the wrong direction. Just not really sure in what direction I should be looking thou.
“Alayah, I don’t understand why they didn’t show up. When I say that a meeting is mandatory, then everyone shows up and that has always included the Omegas.” Uncle Josh finally says and I know there is more going on than any of us understands at the moment, I just hope we get to figure this out before more damage is done.
I see Bastian looking at the footage, as the Pack’s Gamma he is responsible for the security in the Alpha residence, the Pack–house and the territory. He is writing as his eyes fly over the screen of his laptop and I wonder what else he is looking at, because with the amount he is writing this isn’t just the footage he showed us.
Alayah is talking to Uncle Josh with Nathan right behind her and I smile at the way he holds her, while she leans closer to his body. I am glad we found her and that our families accepted our bond without a fight. I am still amazed that we share a Mate and that we and our Lycans accepted it without any arguments what so
ever.
“She is all ours.” Nikolay whispers next to my ear and when I look at him I know that I have the same huge grin on my face. Yes, Alayah is all ours and we will love and cherish her until the day we die.
“Okay, I want to hear all of your thoughts on how this happened. I want to figure out why all of a sudden things have changed around here and I want to know who is responsible.” Alayah says and we all walk to the sitting area, while everyone that isn’t a part of this leadership leaves the room.
Once everyone has taken a seat I look around the room and I chuckle when I realize that Alayah’s leadership is a bit on the big side for this sitting area. There is not one seat left and the five of us sit like we constantly do; Alayah on someone’s lap, two of us on either side of her and one of us on the floor in front of her.

“This is going to be a challenge, somewhere down the road.” Bastian says as he looks at me, but leave it to my Mate to see a silver lining. “Why? Don’t you want your Mate to sit on your lap?” She asks and Bastian starts looking like a little fish, opening and closing his mouth.
