Bastian gets up to greet the Elders when they arrive at the Pack–house and I turn back towards Grandpa to see if he will answer my question, “With three Elders being present an Alpha Ceremony can be held.” He say with a knowing look in his eyes and I patiently wait until Bastian returns with the three Elders, it takes about fifteen minutes before the door opens again. My eyes widen when I realize that only one of them has a familiar smell, he is a Lycan.
I slowly get up as I keep looking at the other two Elders, “What kind of shifter are you?” I ask as I look at the female and I can hear her heart skip a beat before she tells me that she is a Mountain Lion, the other male tells me he is a Grizzly before I get to ask the question. All three Elders look at Uncle Josh for confirmation and the moment he nods his head they bow their heads to me. I tell them to leave that at the door, I don’t like the feeling I get when they do that.
“Alayah, will you tell us what you have decided?” Grandpa asks me and I turn towards my family to finally give them my answer, “Topaz and I had a hard time to figure out what to do. Accepting the Alpha position means putting a target on my back and if any of the Alphas still remember the story of the original Alpha bloodline it will become even bigger. It also means that I have to catch up on a century worth of punishments for Wolves, Lycans and other Shifters that broke our Laws, which will take up a lot of my time.
The target on my back and the amount of time it will take to dish out the punishments is nothing compared to the pain and injustice Wolves, Lycans and other Shifters have gone through or are still going through. I know I will have my Mates by my side and a family that will help me in any way that they can, so Topaz and I have decided to take our rightful place as the Alpha of Blood Stone Pack.” I say as I look at Uncle Josh.
Uncle Josh arranges everything with the Elders for the Alpha Ceremony and Grandpa tells me what to expect the moment Uncle Josh steps down as acting Alpha, he also tells me that the Pack–members will notice immediately that there is a stronger Alpha running the Pack. “Who will be your Beta and Gamma?” One of the Elders asks and I tell him that I still need to ask them.
Grandpa asks me if I am sure about my choice, “Yes, Grandpa. One of them has been training for this position for many years and the other has been doing something similar for years, the only problem I might have is a case of jealousy.” I say as I look at him and he tells me that he understands. “Anton, would you become my Beta?” I ask and the Idiot starts crying like a baby, but he accepts the position by nodding his head profusely.
“My Gamma was a bit trickier, I didn’t know who I wanted to ask for that position. Oh, wait a minute. Shouldn’t the Deltas be here for the Ceremony?” I ask as I turn to Grizzly and Uncle Josh tells me he will link them immediately, I look at Grandpa as we wait for the Deltas to get to the Alpha residence. Bastian introduces them to me and I tell them to sit down before continuing with my answer. “I know I could ask one of my Mates to take the Gamma position, but I want someone that is willing to talk back and who isn’t afraid I might ban him to the couch.” I say.
Everyone is laughing while my Mates are objecting, but they know that I am right and once everyone is quiet again I look at Bastian. “Will you become my Gamma?” I ask him and both his Brothers tell him that if he
says No they will kick his ass, “No pressure at all.” I hear Bastian mumble, before he accepts the Gamma position in my leadership.
Uncle Josh asks me to stand beside him to start the Alpha Ceremony and in that moment I realize there are a lot more Lycans in the living room, Uncle Josh quickly explains that they are the current leadership of Blood Stone Pack. “They will hand over their position to your leadership once we are done, this is how an Alpha Ceremony works. From the Alpha to the Delta position, each one needs to go through this process to get the powers that come with their position.” Uncle Josh explains.

“Does that mean Mable turns her powers over to Noah?” Grandma asks and I am not sure who is more stunned by her words, Noah or Aunt Mable. It also give me a hysterically laughing Lycan, Topaz is showing me a picture of Noah in a dress and I am laughing my ass off when Eiji starts to growl. “Damn, I need to find a way to control this new ability.” Topaz growls in my head.
Nikolay wraps his arms around me and through the mind–link he tells me to think of the conversation Marc had with Alpha Randell. Yep, that stopped me from laughing and now I am furious. “Calm down, Princess. After this is over you will hear why Khal roared and after that we can see if there is a file on Crimson Moon Pack.” Nikolay says in my head and it is enough to calm me and Topaz down for the time being, but I know that Crimson Moon Pack will be the first Pack I am looking into.
“I am sorry for the interruption, but Topaz has trouble controlling our new found ability. The image was only meant for me, but somehow she also showed it to my Mates and when she is showing me an image of Noah in a dress it is best if he is unaware.” I say as I walk into his arms and he kisses me on the top of my head before he turns me towards Uncle Josh.
