“I would decline the position too, but only because I don’t belong to the bloodline. If I was the rightful heir I would accept it, you are the only one that can help the Elders with every Wolf and Lycan that has ever broken the Law or will break the Law. You and your leadership can bring justice back for a lot of Wolves and Lycans that don’t get any justice at the moment. I also believe that Anton is correct as to why you have four Mates and I believe this is the Goddess‘ way of making sure the rightful heir can reclaim her position.” Uncle Rex says.
My Mates tell me that they will follow me wherever I go, but like Uncle Rex they point out that I am the only one that can make a difference for those that were falsely accused by their Alphas or fellow Pack- members. Noah points out that one of them will always be by my side and that no one will ever be able to get all four of them to leave me at the same time, that I will have Uncle Josh to learn all my responsibilities from.
The only one that hasn’t given her opinion yet is Mom and looking at her I know she will basically tell me the same as the others. “Baby Girl, after hearing everything from Uncle Josh and Grandpa I realized something, your Father would have taken the position without hesitating. He hated it if someone broke the Law and especially if someone else became an innocent victim in the process.
He never understood the reports from the Elders either and now that I know what was wrong with them I understand why he always questioned them. You are your Father’s Daughter in every way and if anyone can help the Elders with restoring this world back to a peaceful place for every Wolf and Lycan it will be you. You have your Mates by your side, a huge family that will have your back no matter what and if I understood Grandpa correctly a Pack that will protect you at any cost.” Mom says.
My family leaves me with my Mates after they have all given me their opinion and now I am left to make my own decision. I crawl onto Noah’s lap as I ask Topaz how she feels about all of this, I need to discuss this with her and I need the comfort of one of my Mates while we make a decision. A part of me wants to run like hell, to act as if I never found out who I am or why Blood Stone Pack exists but I know deep down
that I can’t.
Nero’s p.o.v.
The moment she crawls onto Noah’s lap we know that she will not hear a word we say, she needs to talk to Topaz about everything and this is going to take a while. A knock on the door sound just before it opens, Mara walks in with some dinner and Dad is right behind her. “This is for the four of you, I doubt you will be able to get some food into Alayah at the moment.” Mara says as she places a tray in front on Nathan and Nikolay, Dad places the other tray in front of me and Noah.
None of us says a word as we start eating and even the fact that Noah moves the food past her nose can’t pull her from the conversation she is having with Topaz. Noah tells me that he finally understands why those reports from the elders never made sense, “I always thought they didn’t want to bother with a missing person’s reports, that they took the easy way out. I never thought this could have been set up this way, that they didn’t want others to take action.” He says.
The Elders needed to make sure that no one would try to attack Blood Stone Pack and what better way to do it than to paint a gruesome picture of this Pack, no one in their right mind would come here looking for someone. In most cases I believe it was best that everyone thought the missing person was dead, that they could live their lives in peace and with three Packs helping the Elders it was quite easy to pull off.

We all agreed with Uncle Josh that leaking that memo was a smart thing to do, we just need to find away to keep others from challenging Alayah’s claim to the Alpha position and that is a when, not an if. She will accept that position because she is just like her Father and I think there is another reason why she has four Mates, my Brothers and I hate injustice as much as Alayah does and as her Father did.
I think it is safe to say that before the night is over Blood Stone Pack will have their Alpha back, an Alpha that will not allow others to break the Law and I look around the office to see if I can find some answers to the questions that just popped into my head. Nikolay opens the door after we heard a small knock and two Omegas walk in with some coffee for us, they take the trays from dinner with them as they leave the office.
Nikolay asks me what I am looking for and I turn around to face my Brothers, “This Pack was founded to assist the Elders and that means that this Pack had the strongest Warriors, the best trained Warriors. I would like to know if they still train their Warriors as they did back then and I would like to know if any of the Pack–members that joined after the Alpha died stayed here to help serve justice to their former Pack.” I answer him.
I ask them what they would do if they had been banished from their Pack for bogus reasons, I would have tried to get justice and we now know that that is impossible unless Alayah takes her rightful place. It would have meant that I needed to wait until the rightful Alpha returned and I would have chosen to stay in the Pack that might be able to give me my justice, training as hard as I could to help serve that justice.
Nikolay helps me to look for any proof of my theory, while Nathan and Noah talk about taking care of everyone that ever broke the Law. We need to make sure that every Pack knows that Alayah is the Alpha of Blood Stone Pack and that we will help the Elders to uphold the Law, just like this Pack has done from the day it was founded.
We decide that it will be best to deal with one Pack at the time and we will let Alayah decide where to start, after all she is the Alpha. She has the power to make an Alpha submit to her, not that she is aware of that yet and I wonder how long it will take before she becomes aware of it herself.
