If we want Alayah to accept her fate we need to be honest with her, she needs to understand why it is important for her to take the Alpha position and I believe her Mates are the answer to my puzzle.
There is a lot about Blood Stone Pack that isn’t known by the public and we have had good reasons to keep it hidden, I just hope Alayah will understand why we never revealed everything to other Packs.
Dad believes they will understand and agree with our reasoning for not allowing everything to get known by others, we have talked about Alayah taking over for hours since we found out about her existence and we need to explain quite a lot to her and her family. We will have to start with the one thing we allowed to leak on purpose, it prevented a lot of pain and headaches over the years.
We would never stand between a true Mate–bond, but we needed the outside world to think we did. We didn’t want Wolves or Lycans to show up claiming to be the heir to the Alpha title and making it look as if we were a vicious and unfair Pack was the best way to keep them away. It was Dad’s idea to put that memo in a file we had to send to the Elders all those years ago and it worked like a charm, but it didn’t scare off Alayah and her family.
I look surprised at Alayah when she asks about her Mates getting her gifts, it was something we hoped was true but wasn’t confirmed completely. If one or more of her Mates suddenly show signs of having an ability than we have the proof we need, it was only registered twice in our family history and only once it was describe in detail. I hope Alayah will tell us why she asked the question and I know I am not the only one that is curious.
“Alayah, before we talk about your question I need to explain a few things to all of you.” I say as I walk to the window, I always find it easier to tell our history when I have something else to look at.
“Our Pack was founded a decade or two after the War for females, we all knew about the connection between Wolves and or Lycans. Most Packs still didn’t believe that connection was real or that it could turn to a true Mate–bond within days.” I say.
Packs lived in fear of their neighbors and in fear for their Pack–members. It was a fragile peace at that time and the Council–members that ŝurvived the attack on the Palace went looking for any survivors of the Royal Family.
The only one that survived was the Pup of Prince Xandros and Council–member Vivyanna, but he had no interest in taking the throne and that is when the Elders and the last Royal came up with a Council of Elders with the backing of Blood Stone Pack.
They put a lot of rules and regulations in place to keep judgement fair and only our rightful Alpha can bring down justice on Packs that have broken the Law. There are different kinds of shifters on the Council of Elders and most Wolves and Lycans have no idea how to tell the difference between them, Blood Stone’s Alpha has always been the only one that could tell the difference without spending much time with the shifters.
Most shifters that aren’t Wolves or Lycans live either in White Mountain Pack or in Crystal Blood Pack, they keep away from other Packs because of bad experiences in the past and I can’t blame them for it. Blood Stone Pack wasn’t always an all Lycan Pack, our founding Father was a Wolf and he was mated to an Alpha’s Daughter. Our founding Father was the last Royal and we are the only connection left between the

For a very long time Blood Stone Pack and the Council od Elders were able to up hold to Law, but with the death of the Alpha and his heir Blood Stone Pack lost the power and strength they had to help the Council of Elders. However, their acting Alpha had no intention of letting Packs getting away with breaking the Law and he offered the Council of Elders a plan to keep many Wolves and Lycans to become victims of their Alphas.
The Council of Elders found to mixed Packs willing to help Blood Stone Pack with their plan and for nearly a hundred years Pack–members that were turned Rogue or convicted of a crime found a new home. in one of the three Packs that worked with the Council of Elders. Most of the Pack–members that were turned Rogue or convicted were Lycans and Blood Stone Pack continued to grow as they took in every Lycan that needed a new Pack to live in.
I stop talking the moment I see that Alayah seems to lose focus, my best bet would be that Topaz has a few things to say to her and I wait until she turns her head towards me. “What kind of crimes were they convicted of and for what reasons were they turned Rogue.” Alayah asks and I know she wants to know as much as she can to make a good and just decision, it is not just her life we are talking about.
I explain that all the reasons were bogus, that their Alphas needed to get rid of them and without our rightful Alpha we can’t hold those Alphas accountable. Stopping a true Mate–bond from growing between a low and high ranking Pack–member, stopping a female from getting her birth right in a high ranking position and there have been other reasons.
“What about the female you were looking for, Bastian?” Noah asks and Bastian looks at me for a moment before he turns back to Noah. The story of this female isn’t a good one, but a good example why we need Alayah to take her rightful place as our Alpha and I will use this to our advantage.
“I think it is best if Dad explains this to all of you.” Bastian answers and everyone turns their attention back
to me.
The female is a nineteen year old Lycan that lived in a mixed Pack and as the Daughter of the Beta she grew up with the Pups of the Alpha and Gamma. She was surprised when the future Alpha started to pay more attention to her after he turned eighteen, but with his training he was kept busy a lot by his Father and on the day she turned sixteen her Lycan showed up. Instead of training with her future Alpha she started training with the other Lycans in their Pack.
The future Alpha wasn’t too pleased with other males touching her during training and his Father had to intervene quite a few times to prevent him from killing a Pack–member. After she turned seventeen his obsession with her became to much for her and she moved out of the Pack–house, but on her eighteenth birthday she discovered there was a connection between her and the future Alpha.
After a talk with both their parents present she decided to give the connection a chance to form into a Mate–bond, but on the day her Lycan told her the bond had formed completely she had fallen to the ground in pain and it didn’t take her long to find out what was the cause of her pain. The future Alpha believed that she had been sleeping with some of the Pack’s Lycan Warriors and he planned on making her pay for her infidelity.
