“Okay, it is time to get some lunch.” Anton says as he walks to the door and I roll my eyes at him, not that he can see it. We all follow Anton out of the office to head up to the dining room and I can already see the females at the top of the stairs looking at my Mates, Topaz is softly growling as we walk further up the stairs. “Hello, Nero. Welcome home, if you need any help just come look for me and I will help you with anything you need.” One of them says, while she is looking at Nikolay.
“STAY AWAY FROM OUR MATES.” Topaz roars and the female drops to her kneès. “By the way, that is Nikolay.” I say as I walk past her with Nikolay right behind me, but I knew this wasn’t over when I saw the look of disgust in her eyes. We are halfway through the dining room when we hear rushed steps behind us, “Alpha Randell, this is outrageous. She can’t be mated to her Brothers, she is lying because the Goddess would never allow it and neither can you as our Alpha.” A female voice from behind me says.
The entire dining room has gone quiet and I can feel Topaz pushing forward but luckily my Mates are near enough to stop her from taking control, “Topaz, calm down. It is best if no one finds out you’re an Alpha, at least not until you and Alayah have made a decision.” Noah says through the mind–link and Nikolay has his head against my forehead as he looks into my eyes, while Nathan and Nero each hold one of my hands. I can feel that Topaz is reluctant to settle down, but she knows that Noah is right.
I can hear Pack–members around us mumble, most agree with her that we can’t be mated to one another because they are my Stepbrothers and some think there is nothing wrong with our Mate–bond. I hear some whisper that I should reject them, that I am not worthy of my Mates and that there are more suited females in this Pack for my Mates. The more I hear the more trouble I have to control Topaz and I know it won’t be long before I lose this battle with her.
Nikolay lifts me in his arms as he says, “Let’s go to the Gamma floor, we will have our lunch there and let Alpha Randell deal with this bunch. Nathan, can you ask someone to bring us up some lunch?” Nathan walks out of the dining room in search of an Omega and Nero and Noah step next to Nikolay to guide us out of the dining room. “There is no need for all of you to leave, Alayah can go up to her room on the Beta floor herself. Why don’t you all keep us company?” The female says.
Eiji releases a mighty roar as he stalks towards the females and Nikolay quickly puts me on my feet to allow me to calm my Mate, “Eiji, look at me. I need you to calm down, Topaz needs you to stay calm. Eiji, please listen to me.” I say as I look into his eyes as I cup his face and I see that I have his full attention, “Hello, Princess.” He says as he leans closer to me until our lips touch and I let myself lean against his body as he deepens the kiss.
The dining room, the Pack–members and even my other Mates disappear into the background when he lets his hands roam my body. I lean even closer into his body as his hands travel up and down my back, “Okay, I hate to be a party pooper. You have an audience, Princess.” Nathan says and I growl at his words, but he knows I am not mad at him. I look into Noah’s eyes to see that Eiji is still there, but he has calmed down enough for Noah to stay in control.
No one says a word as we walk out of the dining room and Nathan tells us that our lunch will be on our floor in half an hour, “Enough time for us to have a serious talk, Princess.” Noah whispers in my ear and I try to figure out if he means this in a sensual way or if there is something serious we need to discuss. I am so deep in thought that I don’t realize we have made it to the Gamma floor until someone closes the door and I look at Noah to find out what he wanted to discuss.
“Why did Alpha Randell allow her to keep talking?” Noah asks. “He made it clear to them earlier they had to stay away from us and yet he didn’t say anything when she was ranting in the dining room. He didn’t stop the Pack–members from talking about whatever it was they were talking about, he didn’t even respond to Nikolay’s remark.” We all listen to Noah as he tells us what is on his mind and I have to say I am surprised to

I had been too busy controlling Topaz to focus on anything else and I hadn’t noticed that Alpha Randell had kept quiet through the whole situation, “I didn’t notice either, but I remember he was in a mind–link with someone.” Topaz tells me. “Topaz just said he was in a mind–link with someone.” I state and Nero tells me that Marc was in a mind–link as well, but that he didn’t think much of it at the time. Had they been linking one another or did a Warrior link them for a reason?
“Let’s have lunch first, then I will go look for Marc and ask him about it.” Nero says as someone knocks on the door and a moment later two Omegas walk in with our lunch.
