I knew I needed to ask them a question, but I wasn’t sure how to phrase the question and to keep myself busy I decide to clear the coffee table. Nathan following me into the kitchen didn’t bug me much and I had to refrain from laughing when I threatened him with Mom, but I didn’t do a very good job at hiding my smile. He pulled me closer to him and threatened to redden my bottom if I threatened him again, causing my face to turn bright red.
The moment he lifted me from the floor I knew I was in trouble, but damn it was the best kind of trouble a girl can get into and I enjoyed every second of it. I felt a bit embarrassed by the fact that the others had been watching us, that was until Topaz pointed out that this would happen a lot in the future and I know I have to get used to this. It’s just that I always thought I would have one Mate, that I wouldn’t have to worry about dividing my attention and now I have four Mates.
I think I have already found another question I need to ask them, but this one needs to be asked first and I hope their answers will help me to make a decision about our future. “If the decision was up to you what would you chose and why. Become Alpha of the strongest Pack in existence right now or stay in your birth Pack to help out the future leadership.” I look at each of them as I ask them the question I want an answer to, not that they can make the decision for me but they can help me figure out what to do.
“I think you need to figure out if you can find it in yourself to forgive your family and friends that they kept a secret from you. Grandma got pissed when she found out what Grandfather had hidden from both of you, she didn’t like the fact that Blood Crescent Pack visited Crimson Moon Pack without her knowing that you had a target on your back. We all know that they are a vicious Pack that have done unspeakable things to Wolves and Lycans that crossed into their territory.
The Elders have warned every Pack over the years to make sure their Pack–members know to stay away from Blood Crescent Pack, the Elders have investigated numerous cases of disappearing Pack–members and each investigation ended at the borders of Blood Crescent Pack. I am not saying that I agree with Grandfather to keep this hidden from you, but I do understand why he thought it was best for you and you told us yourself about the vow every Alpha takes.
I understand why they made that decision but I don’t agree with it, I also believe it is why Grandfather didn’t want to tell you. What if he had told you sooner and you decided to get to know the rest of your family? They might have stopped you from returning home and then we wouldn’t have met one another or you might have had a chosen Mate if we ever met. What if Grandfather wanted to tell you after you found your Mate?” Noah says.
I let his answer run through my mind as I snuggle closer to Nathan, “Maybe he is right about Grandfather, with your Mate by your side Blood Crescent Pack would have a hard time keeping you within their territory.” Topaz comments. “I think we need to talk to Grandfather about this, we need to ask him why he didn’t tell me. We can make up our mind on forgiving him after he answers my question.” I reply before I turn my attention back to my Mates, I need to hear what the others have to say.
“I agree with Noah, but I also understand you want to hear my thoughts about this. I am not sure what I would chose, I still don’t have all the answers I would need to make that decision and I think you know that deep down inside of you. The things we know about Blood Crescent Pack are all told by the Elders, I don’t think a Pack has ever received an invitation from them for whatever event and that means we don’t know if they really are that vicious.
We have always had a lot of questions after reading one of those reports from the Elders, but Alpha Gordon always said that the Elders wouldn’t send us those reports if there wasn’t any truth to them. If you want to know my opinion I would say that we need to visit Blood Crescent Pack, but not until you have determined that we get to mark you and I only bring that up because we want to keep you safe.” Nikolay says and

Nathan and Nero tell me that they agree with both of them, that we need to look at this from all sides before they can give me any advice on what to do, “But this will always remain your decision to make, we just want you to know that we will follow you no matter what you decide to do and we will do everything in our power to protect you from harm.” Nero says.
I tell them that I want to talk to my friends and family in the morning, I need to hear their opinion as well and just when I ask Noah to link Mom and Dad they walk onto our floor. Mom and Dad agree with my Mates on everything, even though they looked a bit uncomfortable when it came to Nikolay’s remark on us marking one another.
Topaz agrees with Nikolay on them marking me before we visit Blood Crescent Pack, I ask her if she is absolutely sure about this and I remind her of the fact that Noah lied to us. “Yes, he did and he explained why. He also gave us a reason as to why Grandfather might have chosen to wait with telling us, we both know that they want this Mate–bond as much as we do and I doubt they will ever keep a secret from us again. Well, at least an important secret.” Topaz says and I think about it.
All of them have a valid point, I need to be marked before I can visit Blood Crescent Pack safely and I believe Topaz when she says they will never keep something important from me again. I remember the miserable look on Noah’s face when he explained himself to me and I think it is safe to say that they will think again before they keep something from me. The only thing I have to determine now is when I will allow them to mark me, “Tonight.” Topaz says.
“They will be able to sense your emotions if you have marked one another, they will understand when someone is lying to you and they will know that you are not angry or upset with them.” She explains herself and I think about what she I just said, it does make sense to make sure I am not the only one that can tell someone is lying to me.
