Chapter 308 Alayah Left

I finally understand Erick’s remark of not surviving this if he had to do it on his own and I am glad Marc offered us the positions of Delta, it is a tiny bit different from being a Head Warrior but that has to do with the additional responsibilities. After we all have taken a shower we still have an hour before lunch and we decide to head to the main living room, introduce ourselves to a few Pack–members.
We all glance at Alayah’s office to see that the door is closed and we know that that means that she is not to be disturbed. I sit down in an armchair next to the floor to ceiling window and as I stare outside I listen to the people around me talk, that is until I hear a female ask Noah if he has a mate. Noah explains that none of us has a Mate and I can see a smile form on her face, “Fuck, a power hungry She–wolf. Do you think she knows who she is talking to?” Yuma asks me.
I don’t have to answer him because she screws up by referring to Noah as the future Gamma, “I am not the future Gamma and even if I was I wouldn’t take a chosen Mate, because it is females like you that make me feel disgusted. All you are interested in is status, not what kind of male your Mate is and you will trick a high–ranking Wolf or Lycan the first change you get.
I warn you to stay away from me and my Brothers or I will make you regret it, is that clear?” Noah growls and the female scurries out of the living room as fast as she can. “Wow, Noah. It didn’t take you long to figure out her end game. I think she has done this to every high–ranking Lycan in our Pack and none of us has fallen for it.” Anton says as he sits down next to Noah. “By the way, Grandma demands your presence at Sunday dinner.” He continues.
Nero already explained that Grandma expected us for Sunday dinner and that she wouldn’t take No for an answer, looks like he wasn’t exaggerating. An Omega announces that lunch is getting served and as we walk towards the main dining room I can see that Alayah’s office door is wide open, but as we step into the dining room I don’t see her. Everyone has a strange look on their faces when she isn’t there when lunch is served and I can tell that Marc and Anton are trying to link her.
Beta Paul asks the Warriors to take a look in the gardens and Anton follows them out of the dining room, “I warned border patrol to keep an eye out for her.” Alpha Randell says and I feel a little better knowing that people are out there looking for her, but within ten minutes Anton walks back in as he shakes his head. “She isn’t in the gardens.” He says and my Brothers and I get up as one.
We walk out the front door but Yuma urges me to go around back, he keeps telling me she is close by and I hope to find her tucked away in some corner they forgot. “Eiji says she is close by.” Noah says and Nero and Nikolay tell me the same thing, but none of us can see her. “Yuma, are you sure she is close by?” I ask him. “Yes, I can feel her but it is as if something is blocking her. It feels as if I am on the outside, while she is on the inside.” Yuma responds.
I ask my Brothers what their Lycans are feeling and they tell me the same thing Yuma told me, non is making sense to me. “Buddy, I know you say she is close but we need to search the territory. We need to ma she hasn’t wandered off to far.” I say to Yuma and even though he doesn’t like it he allows me to walk away from the gardens.
We run into search–party after search–party but none of them have found Alayah and as we walk back to the Pack–house I fear something might have happened to her, “What the Fuck.” I hear Noah growl and as I look towards the gardens I see our Angel standing there, she is staring at a rosebush. I hear the anger that laces Noah’s voice and I am not surprised it doesn’t impress our Angel, but I am flabbergasted by her answer.
I can tell from the way she is talking that she believes she was in the gardens all that time, but we had all gone there to see that she wasn’t in the gardens and I flinch the moment she releases her Beta aura. Before

the stairs to see if Alayah is okay, but what we find is something I hope I never find again in my life.

The entire Beta floor is empty and when Anton opens the door to her room I can tell she left in a hurry. “What is going on here?” I hear a male asking behind us and Anton walks into the male’s chest, “Grandfather, Alayah left. She packed a bag and left, she didn’t even say goodbye.” He whispers. “She disappeared for hours and then she lied about where she went, but when I confronted her she got angry. She used her Beta aura before she walked out of her office and now she gone.” Anton says.
“Marc, link your Father and tell him that I said it is time. He will understand what I mean by that, let’s go to Alpha Randell’s office. I think it is time you all got a history lesson they don’t cover in school and as for the four of you call me Grandfather.” He says before he guides Aton to the stairs, none of us says a word as we follow him down the stairs to Alpha Randell’s office and I am surprised to see the entire leadership. I also see a few strange faces, but one of them makes a few things clear.
“Hello, Sweetheart. Good to have you back and I assume these three are your Brothers.” I hear her say as she wraps her arms around Nero.
“Grandma, these are my Brothers Noah, Nathan and Nikolay.” He says as he points at each of us and I smile as she ignores Noah’s outstretched hand and pulls him in for a hug. As she hugs me and Nikolay she makes it clear that we should call her Grandmother, “Yeah, Nero already warned us and something about ripping us a new one.” Nikolay says as he wraps his arms around Grandma.
“Okay, Robert. Spill it, why did we have to come to the Pack–house?” Grandma asks and the male that had introduced himself as Uncle Rex is chuckling.
“Hold your horses, woman. I will explain everything, but first I need to know if anyone knows where Alayah is.” Grandfather says.
