Pauline informed me that two Pups were still alive but in bad shape and I told her to take them to Blood Crescent Pack to get medical help. I made sure I didn’t start torturing Cam until I knew Pauline was far enough away with those Pups and after seeing the basement I knew I wouldn’t ask him any questions, I would give him a piece of his own medicine.
The only thing I hate is that I will not be able to do this to all four of them, but Fortune and I will take what we can get and when I hear through the mind–link where the other three are I know I will at least have one more that I can torture to my heart’s content.
Levi is packing up my tools and he cleans them before placing them in my bag, he is extra careful with the potions because he understands what they can do to someone.
Kay wraps his arms around me to give some time to gather my thoughts and I bury my face in his chest as I wrap my arms around his waist, I feel Mack stepping behind me to sandwich me between the two of them.
It takes a few minutes before I feel comfortable enough to ask Harvey what he found, but the more he tells us about what he found the more agitated Fortune and I become.
There are several folders on the laptop with each their own contents, we now know which Packs they took Pups from and some of the names tell me that the Alpha himself might be involved. They even took Pups from cities and towns with the names of the people that handed the Pups over, there are even amounts behind every Pups name and I can feel my Mates getting as agitated as I am.
There is a folder with names of Rogues that they use to go to a Pack, town or city to pick up the Pups and each of them has a location as to where they are staying, except for Jason. Jason has a file of his own and from the notes in that file it is clear that they didn’t trust him, but with another male with him every single time they couldn’t take him out.
I chuckle when I realize that Jason out smarted them, he knew what he was doing when he took someone else with him.
They also mention that he had a Mate, but that they couldn’t get him to open up about him or her and Harvey has a fun time telling us how frustrated the Dayborne Brothers and Bornshade Sisters had gotten over the years with Jason.
But Harvey’s mood changes when he opens another folder, “I am not going to bore you with the details.” He mumbles before he tells us it contains the names of Pups that survived their training and each of growls when we see it is a rather short list.
This folder also contains the names of whoever bought the trained Pups from them and I growl when I hear a few familiar names, but it turns out there is another list in this folder. That folder disgusts us even more, it is a list of Pups that were sold back to them because they had reached a certain age.
Some of those Pups were sold to other males, but those that had become too old for their clientele were sold to the Lowbane family.
“After the Spring Ball.” Is all I say when Harvey looks at me. “Right now I want to take these per. s out, than I have a funeral to attend to and then Spring Ball. My schedule is full enough, you can deal with the preparations, Harvey.” I say and he gets a huge grin on his face, he loves the preparations of my assignments almost as much as the assignment itself.

Mack to blow it to hell.

“How am I supposed to do that?” He asks and I hand him the detonator as I walk to our own SUV, we all walk to the SUVs before we turn back around to the building. Mack looks from the detonator in his hand to the building just before he presses the button, blowing it to kingdom come.
A few minutes after we drive away from the burning building my phone starts ringing, one of my Scouts informs us that Sarka has been spotted on her way out of Palperroth and I open my tablet to track my Scout’s whereabouts.
The map shows me that she is on her way towards us and we quickly look at the perfect spot to force her to
stop, I will make sure that none of them is breathing anymore by morning.
Levi steps on the gas to make sure we meet her as far away from the drop off location as we can, I don’t want her to be able to connect a few dots and make a run for it or to alert the other two targets. We decided to grab Sarka near Mirefield because it will be more likely that we can pull it of there without being seen, it is a town near a large and dense forest.
We pull over to the side of the road, just before the road makes a bend to the left and Sarka won’t be able to see us until it is too late. Mack and I will hand over control to Commander and Fortune, they get to take care of this target and I know that Fortune will toy with Sarka for a bit.
I remember I had to let Fortune out for a run after we received the file on Sarka, to say that the female pissed Fortune off is putting it mildly.
I had asked my Scouts to get every piece of information they could find on Caym and Tamish Dayborne and on Nishay and Sarka Bornshade, I needed to know as much as I could on these targets and Sarka’s file was of an entire unique level compared to the other three files.
Sarka is known to be somewhat aggressive towards her victims and with that I mean that she is more cruel than any target I have ever been after.
If Sarka feels that you have wronged her in any way she will literally destroy you, she always starts out with removing someone’s eyes before she lets her Wolf toy with the blinded victim and her Wolf seems to enjoy pulling them apart slowly.
Let’s see how she will like to be the victim, let’s see if her Wolf enjoys this as much as the other way around.
Five minutes before she will arrive I strip down and hand over control to Fortune, she walks to the middle of the road with Commander right beside her. Both of them waiting patiently for Sarka to come into view and as I suspected she slams on the breaks, coming to a full stop just inches away from us.
“Have you lost your fucking mind?” Sarka yells as she steps out of her car and Kay informs her that we have not lost our fucking minds.
“You on the other hand will lose everything.” Levi says before he empties a syringe of Sadoraway into her arm, it will prohibit her from mind–linking anyone and it will keep her quiet. Sarka quickly finds out she can’t produce a sound and shortly after that she looks at us in shock, looks like she found out she can’t mind–link her Mate.
Kay uses that moment of shock to blind her and Levi gets in her car to drive it to the side of the road.
Commander takes the first strike as he slashes his claw over her back, causing her to move forward but she tries to look behind her and lands on her back in front of Fortune. Fortune places a paw on her chest and slowly puts more weight on her chest. Sarka tries to push her Paw away from her chest but Fortune isn’t

The moment we hear a rib crack Fortune releases her and Sarka’s wolf forces the shift, just like Commander and Fortune had hoped. Commander grabs her tail between his teeth and clams down tightly, biting her tail of in the process.
Her Wolf is turning in every direction as she is snapping at the air around her, she turns towards Levi the moment she hears him chuckle and she takes a few slow steps towards him but Fortune bites down on her hindleg before she can get to close to him.
Commander and Fortune take turns in sinking their teeth into Sarka’s Wolf, they know exactly how to draw a lot of blood without injuring her too badly and they seem to enjoy themselves but I can tell that Sarka hates being on the receiving end of this attack.
“Can the two of you stop playing?” Harvey asks while he looks at his watch. “At this rate we will mis our next target and I would like to be done in time to sleep in a bed with my Mate.”
Pure panic shoots through Sarka’s eyes, she knows we will go after her Mate and she probably thinks her Sister and Mate are still on our list. I link Kay to make sure she dies knowing what we are going to do to her Mate and her Sister, I want her to know what we already did to her Mate’s Brother and the moment Fortune sees defeat in her eyes she goes in for the kill.
We leave Sarka’s body near her car and I know that someone will eventually find her, someone that will probably be unable to keep this to themselves.
By tomorrow morning the entire world will know that the Dayborne Brothers and Bornshade Sisters have been taken care of and everyone will know that the Angel of Death is responsible for their deaths.
