Pauline has responded to my message and she will be waiting for me at the location I send her, I run up the stairs to change into another outfit. I grab a small bag with everything I might need tonight, before I lock every
window and close every door as I walk back down and once I am outside I lock the front door.
I make my way to our western border to meet up with Pauline and Harvey, they will take me as close to my destination as they can.
I don’t have much trouble avoiding our Warriors and I hope no one with my abilities will ever be send after my Alphas, it would be too easy to get to the Pack–house. After I have crossed the border I walk towards the main road and without saying a word I get into the SUV. No one says a word as we drive to Coalfell, a city on the other side of Wolfpine and it is an easy city to get in and out of without someone seeing you.
“You better get down, Maleah.” Harvey says as we reach city limits.
I slide to the floor of the SUV behind Pauline’s seat, a few of the area’s we have to go through have a lot of cameras and at the moment I can’t use my public life as an alibi.
Pauline and Harvey are each other’s alibi, they are going to have dinner in a small restaurant on the other side of the city and the good part is that it is close to where I have to go. I have a deadline though, I have ride out of Coalfell I have to get and if I miss it I am screwed.
Pauline hands me the spare key to the SUV before she and Harvey get out and I clear my mind as I close my eyes, I need to concentrate on the assignment ahead of me.

I had some trouble falling asleep last night and I think the biggest problem was the size of Maleah’s bed, it wasn’t designed for three Lycans.
Largo and I are still getting adjusted to the fact that we are sharing a Mate with our best friends, but it doesn’t scare me as much as I thought it would. I think the thing that scares me the most is finishing the house Ray started building, we don’t know what Maleah likes or dislikes and making a home for the four of us will be a challenge.
We used our new assignment as an excuse for being unavailable until dinner, Maleah didn’t mind because

the territory.” He says before he leads us past the stairs into the next room, the kitchen is placed against the wall of Maleah’s office and the dining area is to the right of the space. The living room covers the entire back of the house and has floor to ceiling walls.
A patio goes along the back of the house and has two huge sliding doors to open up the living room even more, the Master bedroom is positioned above the living room and patio. There is a walk–in closet and an ensuite bathroom, but no further details like a sink or a shower and that goes for every room on the first floor.
The second floor isn’t really an attic, but I can already see the furniture from Maleah’s ancestors placed here and I might be able to make a space on the balcony for her to grow her own herbs.
I tell Mack and Kay my idea on the balcony and both of them start asking questions as to what I have in mind, how and where I want to place her greenhouse.
We head home to have some lunch before we start discussing every detail for every space in the house and Kay keeps track of everything we have to buy or make to finish this house in the next few days, because we made the decision to have it done before Diablo’s funeral.
We want to make sure we can mark her before she has to leave the territory.
We walk through the house with everything Kay wrote down to see where we want to place it and what we need to ask Maleah about. Her office and the second floor are the easiest to take off, we will use everything that is in her house and place it in the same way she has decorated her office to make it easier for her to find everything.
We all have a huge smile on our faces by the time we have walked through the entire house, have made every decision we had to make.
I can’t wait to show Maleah what we came up with and what our future home will look like completely decorated, but I doubt any of us had expected to find an empty and locked house.
