Kylie’s POV
I was internally screaming at myself, what I did just now was so out of my comfort zone but I knew it was necessary.
Elijah was an infamous playboy with a lot of girls throwing themselves at him. If I had to get his attention, I had to step up my game.
Elijah took a moment to scan me from head to toe, once he was done, he looked at me with a disinterested look and said, “Sorry, not interested.”
“What? Why?” I could not believe that he had just rejected me on my face. I was at good–looking girl with decent curves; I always took pride in my looks which he just shattered with his bland rejection.
He replied in a solemn tone, “I don’t play with virgin chicks.”
I clenched my fist beneath the table, “What did you say? What makes you think I am a virgin?”

“Are you not though?” A smirk curled up on the corner of his lips as he pulled out a cigarette from his pocket, “You look like the girl who thinks you could get pregnant just by kissing.”
I felt my skin burn up by the way he was judging me, it felt as if he could see right. through my thoughts. I quickly withdrew my eyes and said, “Shut up! It is none of your
business.”
“Okay!” He chuckled before asking, “If it is not then why are you here?”
I sat there, looking at the milk I had just spilled. My plan of seducing him had clearly failed so I had no other option than to tell him straight.
“Okay, fine. I am stuck in a situation and I need your help to get out of it. I want pretend to be my boyfriend.”

“Your boyfriend?” Elijah’s expression turned serious. He poured himself another glass and asked, “Why should I help you?”
I knew that he would ask this so I had my bargain chip prepared. I took out my wallet and pulled out the stash of money I had saved for Lisa’s birthday. Since I no longer needed that money, I showed it to him and said, “I am willing to pay you for this?”
Elijah looked at the money with a disinterested look, he said, “I don’t need money.”
“State your demand. What do you want in exchange for helping me?”
A devilish smile appeared on his handsome face and I instantly knew that he was cooking something inside his head. Just as I expected, he replied, “You.”
“What are you talking about?”
CHAPTER 2 ONE NIGHT STAND
“Have sex with me.”
“WHAT?” I lost my mind when I heard his demand. Compared to my shocked reaction, he was pretty calm. He said, “If I enjoy it tonight, I will consider helping you.”
“In your dreams!” I turned him down coldly. He shrugged and fell back on the couch, Then good luck finding yourself a fake boyfriend.”
My mind was split in two, I did not expect him to make such a demand.
I was not into one–night stands and this was not the way I wanted to lose my virginity. But again, I did not have much time to find another person to help me.
“Make it quick. I don’t have much time.” Elijah urged. I bit down on my lips; left with no other choice, I gave in, “Fine.”
“Excellent.” The man did not waste another second in footing the bill and taking me back to his house.
He lived in a modest studio apartment not too far away from the bar. I was looking around the house when I heard him lock the door.
My heart skipped a beat and before I could say anything, he shoved me against the wall, engulfing me in a kiss.
“Mhmmm!” A moan escaped my lips, I could keep his tongue prying open my mouth for more.
It felt weird, I had never kissed anyone else other than Justin before. Just as I felt a weird feeling spiral inside me, I felt him take off my shirt
My mind went blank by this, it sent waves of electricity down my system. “So far, so good! Now let’s see how you are in bed.” Elijah whispered in my ears. His hot breath lingered on my neck until he picked me up and tossed me on the bed.
I could feel his erection rub against my belly as he continued showering kisses on my neck, trailing down to my cleavage.
He skillfully unhooked my bra and tossed it away. “You say you didn’t want me but your body says otherwise.” A devilish grin appeared on his face when he looked at my hardened nipples.
My face flushed red, I did not want to feel this way but I could not resist the sensation. Elijah squeezed my breasts together and proceeded to feed on them, all this while making the moisture pool between my legs.
My body was shivering and I was too weak to even say anything. Elijah looked at me, his smirk growing deeper and deeper. He knew that I was on the verge.
He spread my legs and bit before positioning himself on my core. My heart was drumming inside me when I felt him caress my thighs.
Maybe he managed to look through my nervousness as he said, “Don’t worry, I will be gentle.”

CHAPTER? ONE NIGHT STAND
I did not say and clenched the sheets underneath me…
I was the first one to wake up by the sunlight bragging in through the blinds. I threw at dizzy gaze at the man next to me, draped in the quilt and fast asleep.
He looked so harmless right now but last night, he did not spare me until midnight.
I still could not believe that I had lost my virginity to this guy under these. circumstances.
Iyanked the sheet off me and reached to pick up my clothes, lying aimlessly on the
floor.
Once I was done putting on my clothes, I turned on my phone to see a series of missed calls. My eyes immediately turned cold when I saw that all the calls were from Lisa.
I called her back to find out what was up, turns out that scumbag was announcing their relationship at his party today and I was invited. The corner of my lips twitched, I knew that this invitation was not out of courtesy and just to kick me down when I was at my lowest.
“I will be there.” I said before hanging up.
“Why are you being so noisy in the morning?” Elijah’s voice rang from behind me. I turned around to see the magnificent man standing with nothing but a blanket around his waist. The morning rays highlighted the beautiful cuts on his body, this man was at Greek God!
“You are awake?” I was indifferent to his nakedness at this point and went straight to the point, “I slept with you last night. Now it is your time to finish your end of the bargain.”
Elijah nodded and said, “Fair. What do you want me to do?”
I smiled as an evil plan cooked up in my head.
The Ross family house was bustling with guests who were here to attend the banquet. The Ross’s were one of the most influential families in the game so all of the important people in the city were at the party.
I entered the party wearing a red body–hugging dress, paired with matching high heels. I got my hair cut down to my shoulders and styled in beach waves. I completed my look with bright makeup and red lipstick, something which I had never tried before.
As soon as I entered, I could feel a lot of curious gaze upon myself. One of which was Justin who stood there, staring at me.
“Babe?” Lisa, who was currently with him, clinking glasses with the guests, noticed that he wasn’t paying attention and followed his line of sight to see me
I smiled before going over, I handed them the bouquet and said, “Congratulations!”

Justin’s eyes gleamed as my image reflected in them, he said, “Wow! You look… stunning.”
“Thank you!” I replied, not encouraging any conversation.
Justin opened and closed his mouth as if he wanted to speak to me but what could he say? Even though his actions were minute, they were picked on by Lisa. She clenched her fist in secrecy, upset that it was so easy for me to take her man’s attention.
She controlled her annoyance from surfacing on her face and said, “You look beautiful, Kylie. Looks like the break–up changed you a lot. I too would have done the same if a guy dated me for a year and did not make our relationship public.”
“Lisa? What are you doing?” Justin’s face clouded with guilt as he interrupted his girlfriend.
Justin and I were seeing each other for a year but he was extremely strict about not disclosing it to anyone.
Lisa said, “Babe, I am just concerned for her.” She cast a gaze full of mockery and said, “You tried so hard and still got dumped. I don’t want her to be upset with us. It would break my heart.”
The guests too were shocked when they heard the girls‘ words and involuntarily, they fell into a spiral of gossip.
“I can’t believe Justin was dating Kylie. She is just an adopted daughter.”
“I know right, he is so out of her league. I wonder what all she did to seduce him
because he won’t date her in a sane mind.”
“No wonder she was dumped! She was aiming for something she couldn’t afford to
have.”
Even though I could hear all these, I did not react to it. Instead, I shrugge
and said, “It‘ s a pity, I have to admit but isn’t it how it works? No matter
what kind of luxury you provide your dog with, it would still want to go to the streets and find itself a bitch.”
The couple’s faces turned as white as paper as soon as my remark fell.
“What–What did you just call me?” Lisa asked, still trying to comprehend what had just happened.
“I did not call you anything. It is not my problem if my metaphor resonates with you.”
“You…” The girl lost her calm demeanor and charged at me, wanting to grab me.
“What do you think you are doing?” Elijah’s cello–like voice rang in the room, stopping Lisa in her tracks.
Dressed in a black full–hand shirt and pants, he stood behind me looking down at the couple. I turned to steal a glance at him and was surprised; I had never been this close to Elijah in public and was never able to experience the magnificent aura around him.
He had the kind of presence that commanded both presence and respect.
