Chapter 274
“The other two times you hit m… he murmured through clenched ws, his voice dropping an octave, “I let you.”
He stepped in, his chest brushing mine.
“Not anymore. So, don’t get used to it, baby.”
I tried to pull away, but his grip didn’t budge. His other hand came to cup my jaw. My heart pounded wildly in my chest, panic and fury battling for control.
Was this it? Was this where he’d smash my head against the wall or ip out my heart or… Gods… How did I become this terrified of this man?
“Kester, let me go,” I hissed.
But he just leaned in, close enough that I could feel the heat of his breath against my cheek. I could smell the citrus on his skin from his damn cologne, and I hated that it still made my stomach flutter.
“I didn’t have my fill last night,” he whispered, lips brushing against my ear. “And I’m still horny as fuck.”
My blood ran cold.
And you know what gets me turned on, sweetheart?” he whispered, his breath as hot as sin. “When you get all tough. All that fire in your eyes…..” His fingers brushed my waist, “Keep it up. Keep being feisty. I dare you.”
He leaned in even closer, his voice dropping until it was nothing but breath and filth.
“Because I promise you–keep fighting me, and you’ll end up tied to that bed again, spread wide and helpless… taking every inch of a tough fuck until you are nothing but a trembling mess, crying and begging me to stop.”
I sucked in a breath that refused to fill my lungs, and he chuckled like a sick fuck, leaning closer, brows drawing together as if it were concern, “Don’t worry, baby,” he whispered, brushing his fingers against my lower stomach in a twisted parody of tenderness. “I’ll make sure not to hurt our child. Just like I didn’t last night.”
My skin recoiled as if it could peel away from his touch.
I stared at him with my face twisting in disgust and my lips parting in disbelief.
“You’re so sick and disgusting,” I breathed.
His smile widened like it savored the disgust on my face.
He finally let go of my wrist, but not before dragging his fingers slowly down my arm, leaving a trail of goosebumps that made me want to claw my own flesh off.
“Eat and get dressed,” he said, stepping back. His voice had hardened, and no more smiles. “We are going to the hospital.”
He walked away from me and headed for the bathroom.
“You have to reject me,” I said the words before I could overthink them.
He paused. His steps halted right at the threshold of the bathroom. He didn’t turn immediately. He just stood there, back tense, one hand on the doorframe, the other raking through his hair like he was holding himself back from something.

Then, he turned his head over his shoulder, those dark, burning eyes locking onto mine.
His lips curled into something Teral. Almost… hurt and furious.
“Over my dead fucking body,” he said flatly. “You think I’d let you go” His eyes narrowed. “After everything? After what I’ve tasted? I took your virginity, damn it. And do you even know what that means to me?” He shook his head slowly. “You don’t know what you did the very first day you ever gave yourself to me, baby. You woke up a part of me that doesn’t fucking sleep anymore.”
I took a step back, my breath snagging in my throat, “Please, Kester pleaded, “My mum… she might die if she ever finds out.”
He didn’t even blink when I said the woman who he had confe to love as his own mother was going to die from this.
Instead, he smirked, “Well then,” he said, like he was about to come up with the easiest solution in the world, “I guess we’ll find out when we inform them. Tonight.”
My heart gave a violent thud.
“What?” I gasped. “Tonight?”
He took a slow step toward me, like a predator toying with its prey.
“Yes, baby.” He smiled, “Tonight. We’re making us official. No more hiding. No more sneaking around. Everyone–our family, our friends, the whole fucking world–will finally know that You. Belong To. Me.”
His voice turned to thunder in my ears as he counted those words. And the room–the walls, the floor, even the air–seemed to tilt
sideways.
And all I could do was watch as he turned away again, completely unaffected by the storm he had just dropped on my chest, and disappeared into the steam of the bathroom like nothing was wrong at all.
I instantly felt sick.
