tone laid–back, exuding a vibe that was both effortless and a bit posh.

The moment I spotted Kevin, I wanted to duck out of sight. In my past life, I
was so low–key; and now his high–profile entrance was throwing me off. I turned
to head in another direction.

His voice came from behind, stopping me in my tracks. The crowd around
us fell silent; all eyes were on us.
