He thought he was being fair, thinking I wouldn’t make a fuss anymore!
His condescending tone pierced my heart. Even the careless Seth knew their
favoritism towards Sarah hurt me, yet they still did it! Now, just giving me the
same pocket money as Sarah felt like their charity!
“No need,” I said. I’d rather starve than take their money again. Besides, once
I left the Miller family, I wouldn’t need their money!
“Come on, just take the money. You’ve been making a scene for so long, isn’t
it all about the money?” Seth pulled out his phone to transfer.
However, his hand was stopped by Kevin’s, a wave of pressure pushing

Seth winced, his brow furrowed, silently resisting; sweat beaded on his
forehead.
Finally, he gave way, groaning in pain, his body tilting, dwarfed by Kevin.
“My sister’s allowance doesn’t need you, an outsider, to provide.” Kevin held
Seth with one hand while using the other to transfer money.

eyes. But he knew he wasn’t a match for Kevin.
He could only reluctantly drop a harsh remark to me:“Bella! You’re
something else! If you don’t apologize, never even think of coming home!”
With that, he stormed out of the hospital room in a huff.
I looked at Kevin, my eyes bright and grateful, “Thank you.”
He turned his face, the corners of his eyes slightly raised, making his
handsome face even more devilishly charming. His lips curved into a careless
smirk, carrying a hint of nonchalance.
