At the thought of this, a trace of bitterness appeared in Daniel’s eyes. 

In the past, it was she who would hold his arm and speak of these daydreams. Now, the one who wanted to have children with 

her and dream those dreams had become him. 

At this moment, the door to the study was knocked on. 

“Sir, the car is ready.” 

Upon hearing this, Daniel quickly picked up the gift from his desk and walked out. 

On the way to the airport, he leaned back in his seat, closed his eyes to rest, and constantly draftéd what he would say when meeting Sarah and her child.

Screams, ambulance sirens, and police sirens mixed together. 

In the car, Daniel only felt himself growing more and more drowsy, and in the end, he couldn’t hear anything at all. 

In the hospital, the Fosters gathered in front of the operating room. 

Everyone’s face was filled with anxious expressions. 

The clock on the wall ticked away. 

Until the sky outside began to brighten, the operating room door, which had been closed all night, was suddenly pus from the inside.

Before then, Daniel would have to live in a vegetative state. 

Upon hearing this, Daniel’s mother, at the front of the crowd, almost fainted. 

It took a long time before she spoke, “Who hit him? Where are they?” 

The butler quickly replied, “Madam, the truck driver who hit Mr. Foster died on the spot, but…” 

“But what? Speak quickly!” 

Daniel’s mother’s face was full of anger and impatience, and the butler’s heart trembled at her fierce expression. 

The butler gathered his courage and continued, “But our people have found out that the mastermind was from the Adams family.” 

“They sent someone to hit Mr. Foster because of Emily, who’s in prison.” 

Upon hearing this, Daniel’s mother immediately understood everything.
