“Stan, are you deaf? Do you still think you are charming enough to manipulate my emotions and make me go after the Wheeler because I can’t have your love? Wake up. I just don’t like you and want to mess with you,” Geneva replied.
“Geneva, we’re not divorced yet. What do you gain by opposing me?” Stan was getting impatient.
He was already being so humble, but Geneva still didn’t appreciate it. ‘What a damn woman! No wonder I never fell for her,‘ he cursed inwardly.
Geneva suddenly burst out chuckling. “You’re right. We’re not divorced yet.”
The malicious chuckle made Stan uneasy. He couldn’t help wondering what Geneva was planning.
“Geneva, go home with me right now!” he demanded.
Regardless of what Geneva was doing, he wouldn’t give her another chance. “Go back with me, and you’ll still be Mrs. Wheeler! No one can shake your position.”
But before he finished speaking, a trembling voice called out from behind him, “Stan…”
Stan turned around to see Tabitha’s tear–streaked face.
Tabitha turned to Geneva. “Geneva, I trusted and pitied you so much. I even introduced an excellent man to you. But then… you…”
From her words, whoever didn’t know better would think Geneva had seduced her husband.
Then, she turned to Stan. “I guess you can’t let go of Geneva either? She’s so good; she deserves you more than I do.”
With that, she wiped her tears and ran away.
Everyone present was left stunned, wondering what the hell she was doing.
Stan glared at Geneva with a cold face. “Geneva, how dare you play these tricks even now? To dominate the position of Mrs. Wheeler and torment me and Tabitha, you’ve gone to great lengths. But let me tell you, you won’t succeed!”
Hearing him, the crowd was all captivated by the spectacle, stopping in their tracks to watch.
In response to Stan’s words, Geneva picked up an ashtray and threw it at him. Stan couldn’t dodge in time; the ashtray hit his forehead, blood trickling down his face.
“If you’re not feeling well, go get it treated early. Don’t come out and embarrass yourself by showing how stupid you are,” Geneva mocked.
Stan gritted his teeth and spouted his typical boss man lines, “Woman, I’ll make sure you pay for this!”
Everyone present was left speechless, thinking, ‘You can actually salvage dignity this way?‘
After Stan left, Floyd reminded Geneva, “My lady, Stan is capable of anything. You made him lose face today. He won’t let it go. Want me to get you some bodyguards?”
All those domineering bosses had one thing in common: they ignored the law and thought they were above everyone else. If you pissed them off, they’d try to take you down.
To the outsiders, these bosses were just so cool and powerful. But if they watched it with their brain switched on, they’d see just how twisted these jerks

Geneva looked serious, replying, “No need. I’m actually hoping he brings it on.”
Floyd was left bewildered for a moment. But soon enough, he got what Geneva meant.

That night, Stan sent people to take Geneva.
Storming straight into the hotel, they were determined to take Geneva away, without even considering any cover–up–that was the kind of unshakable confidence a boss had.
Reality slapped them hard, though. They couldn’t take Geneva; instead, all of them were caught by the military guards protecting her.
Only then did Floyd realize there were so many skilled fighters around Geneva.
He couldn’t help but praise that she was a real pro after all.
The next day, Stan found out his men had gone missing.
The secretary urged him to stop doing anything to Geneva, as the situation seemed to be turning sour.
But Stan was too arrogant to listen and kept sending more people after Geneva. Without exception, none of them came back either.
On Barclay’s birthday three days later, both the Wheelers and Motleys gathered for a celebration.
Just as things were going well, the butler walked in with a letter from the court.
Stan had a bad feeling right away. Opening it, he saw that Geneva had filed for divorce due to his infidelity during marriage.
His face turned grim immediately.
‘That damn woman actually dared to bring this to court? Didn’t she know I had connections at the courthouse? How dare she!‘ Stan was so angry that he
almost tore up the subpoena.
Kyla said coldly, her tone dripping with sarcasm, “Your daughter sure is something else. Each one more capable than the last.”
She had completely lost her good feelings towards the Motley family now.
Rocky said awkwardly, “Mrs. Wheeler, it’s our fault for not teaching our daughter well. Don’t worry, We’ll definitely get Geneva to drop the lawsuit and give the Wheeler family an explanation.”
Meanwhile, Tabitha sobbed pitifully in her mother’s arms. “How could Geneva do this? What did I ever do to her that she had to make me suffer?”
Salena.comforted her, “Your sister has such an extreme personality. Don’t worry. Mom won’t let her ruin your happiness.”
That brat, saying she doesn’t care about the Motley family. But isn’t she just causing trouble trying to come back?‘ Salena said inwardly.
in her eyes, Geneva wasn’t capable of much, and she probably just found life tough outside and wanted to return to the Motley family, but was too proud to ask directly, so she was trying to get their attention.
As long as Geneva behaved in the future, Salena wouldn’t mind taking her back–after all, Geneva was her biological daughter.
But then, Emerson suddenly passed over the subpoena and documents, and his expression changed as he looked at Mr. and Mrs. Motley, asking, “Do you know your daughter Geneva is a soldier?”
“What?” Salena immediately denied it. “That’s impossible, how could she be a soldier?”

Geneva was suing Stan not only for his infidelity during marriage, but also for the disruption of a military woman’s marriage by both Stan and Tabitha, with Barclay being the irrefutable evidence.
Everyone in their circle thought Tabitha was Stan’s wife since they were always together.
There were even traces of Tabitha and Stan showing affection online, making it impossible for them to deny.
Geneva even claimed that these two wanted to harm her to be together, with the people Stan sent to capture her as evidence.
Now, those people were all in military custody, admitting they were ordered by Stan.
If it were just a regular divorce lawsuit, the Wheeler family might have been able to handle it, but this was about a soldier–the charges were serious and could involve the military authorities.
After reading the documents, Mr. and Mrs. Motley, Stan, and Tabitha all looked utterly incredulous.
