Chapter 406 In The Eyes
Hondo’s p.o.v.
Another morning of waking up with Taipo’s head on my chest and I can’t wait to introduce him to Alayah He has been asking questions about her and how she runs Blood Stone Pack, he enjoys listening to me telling him about what we have done in the past year.
Instead of just one night, I have been here for three nights and they have been the best in my life. I can’t remember if I ever slept this good and we can both feel our Mate–bond forming. It is the most amazing feeling I have ever felt in my life and I can finally understand what Dad has been telling me all these years.
Yesterday was a day filled with anger and outrage, the Omega we met at the Hyll cottage was grabbed by Orosz on her way to the Pack–house and he beat her up pretty badly for disobeying Haydu’s order. Nako found her and probably also spooked Orosz, resulting in the Omega to survive.
On our way to the Parks cottage, we walked by the Hyll cottage to see another Omega working there and she got a beating from Haydu, as a warning. I didn’t want to risk Orosz to lose it again and just made notes for Alayah on this family.
We could hear the screams, before we could see the cottage and we both knew what was happening. It was a sound we had heard recently and I had trouble keeping a lid on Vallin’s anger. Taipo and I held each other for a few moments, when suddenly the screams stopped and all we could hear were soft whimpers.
“You are not worthy of being my Mate and the only reason I am keeping you around is for the sake of my Wolf. If it wasn’t for him, I would have ignored the connection or I would have killed you by now.” We heard a male voice say and a second male voice repeated the same words.
Taipo told me that the first one to speak was Jalal, Dusya’s Brother, and the second male was Dace, her Father. “They don’t deserve the two of you, they will never be worthy of you.” Dusya had stated, before she had walked away.
We waited until both males had left as well, before we had moved from our hiding spot. We had to get Nako out there, before they were willing to believe us and right now we have three females in the cottage. Each of them healing from the pain inflicted on them by males that should have protected them, not be the source of their pain.
I sit next to Taipo, when my phone starts to buzz and I turn it towards him to show him that Alayah is on her way with enough Elite Warriors to seal this Pack within its borders.
“I can’t wait to hear what this leadership has to say for themselves.” Taipo mumbles. “I doubt there is an excuse they can find that will please our Alpha.”
Nako has been packing up her personal belongings and dropped a few bags here already. She will be leaving for Blood Stone Pack with us and if Alayah asks if anyone else would like to transfer Packs, I know three more will come home with us.
I have tried to find out why this Pack’s leadership is unaware of what their Pack–members have done, but no matter how Taipo and I turn it, we can’t find an answer.
From what I have witnessed, the families we investigated don’t hold any power within Pack.
I hope that Alayah is able to find out how these families have been able to instill fear into other Pack- members and how their leaderships have been blind to the many injured and weakened Pack–members that live in their Pack.

Chapter 406 In The Eyes
“Hondo, we are approaching the gate. Anything you need?” I hear Alayah ask in my head and after telling her what I need, we finally leave the cottage to head to the Pack–house.
“Fuck.” Taipo mutters next to me and I follow his line of sight. Yeah, for an outsider it is an amazing sight to see our Elite Warriors and it took me by surprise the first time too.

My friends walk over to us and four Elite up positions around Taipo, the females and me, they will make sure no one can get to them. I am glad I told them what would happen the moment we reached the Pack–house, because it would have scared the shit out of them.
“What can I do for you, Alpha?” Alpha Ivar asks as he looks at Noah.
“You might want to read up on B
Stone’s leadership.” Noah states, as he steps behind Alayah..
Alpha Ivar seems a little confused and I wonder how long it will take before he realizes his mistake. I keep my eyes on the rest of the leadership and I see the
same look in their eyes, none of them seem to understand what Noah is talking about.
“Maybe I can explain this in a way that everyone can understand.” Harper says. “Blood Stone Pack has a female as an Alpha and that means that you addressed the wrong person, Alpha Ivar. And I believe that that is a sign of disrespect, meaning you already have one strike against you, Alpha.”
Through our mind–link, I inform Taipo of who she is and I see a huge smile on his face. Like me, he likes that she isn’t intimidated by addressing an Alpha.
“My apologies, Alpha.” Alpha Ivar says as he looks at Alayah, but anyone can tell that she isn’t buying it. He probably doesn’t like the idea of a female Alpha, any more than the Alphas that challenged her. Damn, I wish I had been there to see those fights and I really want to know how she plans on leading those Packs.
“Alpha Ivar, I sent one of my Pack–members here to investigate some allegations. I have a few files on your Pack–members that made my skin crawl and I am here to pass judgement on those Pack–members.” Alayah says and Orosz has the guts to interrupt her.
“I am not sure what you have heard, but I can guarantee you that they are all lies. If a Pack–member had complained with Alpha Ron, he would have taken action.” Orosz says and Alayah turns towards him with an angry look in her eyes.
“Interrupt me again and I will take your fucking head off.” Alayah growls in his direction and two Elite. Warriors step behind him to reinforce her words.
“I want the Terrell family to step forward.” Alayah says and I see almost every head turn towards the family to my left. Gilles with his arrogant attitude takes a step forward and I can’t wait to see the look on his face,. when he gets charged with his crimes.
“Alpha Ivar, I will leave the punishment of David and Olympe to you. Both of them are responsible for abusing their Daughters in law, both mentally and physically. I suggest you talk to your Pack–members to find out if they are guilty of more crimes.
“Turold Terrell, you are being charged with willingly cheating on your fated Mate. You put her through the pains of betrayal, every chance you got. You never hid this from her, you committed this crime in front of her, every single time. It resulted in her taking her own life and that of your unborn Pup. I, Alpha Alav sentence you to death.” Alayah says.
Before Turold can respond, two Elite Warriors have a hold of him and another places silver cuffs around his wrists. “Let’s continue with Gilles Terrell.” Alayah says, looking him dead in the eyes.
