If memory serves me right I am looking at the Grandson of Alpha Amarah and Alpha Theseus, both of them passed away over eighty years ago and their Daughter stepped down about fifteen years ago. I know there isn’t much known about the current Alpha Theseus, other than that he took over and has a Mate.
“Alpha Alayah, this is an internal matter. This doesn’t concern you or the Elders and I will deal with it.” Alpha Theseus says and the small group to our right all growl, but it isn’t the kind of growl you hear from a Wolf or a Lycan. I slightly turn towards Janina and I see her mouth behind Bastian’s back the word Bear.
“Alpha Theseus, as the Alpha of the Royal Pack this concerns me and I want to know what is going on.” Alayah says, but I can tell that she is slowly losing control to Topaz and when that happens I am going to hang back to watch. We all take a step back as she slightly starts to tremble and I see the small group do the same, while the others are oblivious to what is going to happen.
Anyone that blinked with their eyes, the moment she moved, didn’t see it coming and Alpha Theseus must have blinked, because he doesn’t try to avoid her as she moves forward. She grabs him by the throat and releases a mighty roar, sending everyone around her to their knees and even Alpha Theseus bows his head in submission.
“ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION.” She growls with Topaz right there with her, but the answer comes from someone else.
“They lied when they asked for a transfer to our Pack.” A female behind Alpha Theseus and Alayah drops him to the ground as she turns her attention to the female. “They aren’t Wolves or Lycans and they didn’t mention that when they asked for a transfer.”
“We didn’t lie, your Alpha knows the Pack we came from and knew there was a change we wouldn’t be Wolves or Lycans. He never asked and we never mentioned it, there is the difference.” A male says and I. assume that this is the former Beta of Crystal Blood Pack. The female glares at him, while she is still kneeled down on the ground.
We all turn our gaze to Alpha Theseus to see if his Pack is really this short sighted, “He is right, I didn’t ask and maybe I should have known they weren’t Wolves or Lycans. It still doesn’t mean I need to accept other shifters into my Pack.” Alpha Theseus says and Topaz releases a mighty roar in his direction.
“Are you telling me that every Pack–member your Grandparents and parents accepted that weren’t Wolves or Lycans, were sent away by you?” Alayah asks in an ice cold voice and even though I know it isn’t directed at me, I take a step back none the less.
I have stepped behind our Elite Warriors, because I want to know if the Elders are aware of this and if his parents are aware of what their Son has been doing here. Elder Mathass answers after the first ring, “What do you know about White Mountain/Pack? And I mean starting from the moment Alpha Theseus took over.” I say and it is quiet for a moment.
“Beta Anton, Alpha Theseus‘ parents are here and like me they want to know why you are asking that question.” Elder Mathass says and I decide to get into an SUV to explain the situation we found he know Alayah can get pissed from time to time, but I am glad this female is not my Mother. None is happy with what I had to say and now I get to tell Alayah that they want us to wait until they get here.

“Alayah, his parents and Elder Mathass are on their way. I got the kind request for us to stay put and await their arrival.” I say through the mind–link for everyone to hear and I see an evil little smile appear on her
face.

“Alpha Theseus, we will discuss this when your parents arrive.” Alayah says and I can see every Pack- member pale at her words. Damn, that female still scares the shit out of them and she isn’t even their Alpha anymore.
“Who the Fuck called your Mother?” the female, I can only assume is the current Luna, asks and I smile as I raise my hand. The Luna doesn’t seem to happy with my action, but I am not impressed with the death glare she is giving me.
Merric is to preoccupied with something else to see another female looking us up and down. I try to get his attention but without success and I decide to let him guide me to whatever he is looking at. His eyes. are fixated on a female that is standing not far to my right and the moment she looks up I know, he feels a connection to her.
I can only stare at her as she takes a step towards me and I am grateful for Merric as he forces me to take a step towards her. I don’t hear or see anything else but her and I think I wouldn’t be able to react if a fight broke out right this minute. “My name is Harper.” She says softly and I think she just broke Merric, he just stares at her with his tongue hanging out of his mouth.
“This is Anton, our Pack’s Beta. I know you can’t tell by looking at him now.” I hear Bastian say teasingly and I hear her giggle in response. “I am Bastian, the Gamma, and this is Janina.” I hear him say in the background, Merric and I are to busy staring at Harper and I don’t snap out of it until he slaps his hand on my shoulder.
“Well, that is at least one less of whatever they are in our Pack.” The Luna says and Harper and I growl at her at the same time. “If he accepts her, that is.” She continues and I lose control of Merric. He forces a shift and lunges at her without thinking about it, luckily for us Alayah is there to stop him.
“MERRIC, STAND DOWN.” Alayah orders and Merric stops an inch away from the Luna, growling as he reluctantly follows the order Alayah gave him. “We will deal with her the moment Alpha Theseus‘ parents get here. Give control back to Anton and put some clothes on.” She says as she winks at him and he slowly backs away from the Luna.
Harper moves in front of him, when he turns to walk to the SUV and he slowly places his head on her shoulder. Her hands slide through his fur to end right behind his ears, he start purring when she scratches him and the chuckles and giggles around us tells me that he is actually purring out loud. Not that either one of us gives a damn about it.
“Let’s get your Human some clothes.” Harper says as she moves slightly backwards and even though Merric doesn’t want to give control back to me, he understands it would be inappropriate for him to walk into the Pack–house. He pushes his wet nose in her neck to inhale her scent and the lovely sound of her giggle sounds when he moves his nose just a bit.
The backdoor of the SUV is open and inside I find some clothes, no shoes. After Merric finally hands control back to me, I change into my black jeans and a tight fitting white shirt. Harper giggles when she sees that I am barefoot, “Get used to it, Gorgeous. I never wear shoes if I can get away with it.” I say as I close the distance between us and wrap my arms around her to just feel her body against mine.

Alayah gestures for me to come over to where she stands and she doesn’t have to tell me why shents everyone to see us, “I, Anton, Beta of Blood Stone Pack accept you, Harper, as my Mate.” I say as her cognac eyes and without hesitation Harper accepts me as her Mate. Howls erupt as our Elite Warriors welcome Harper to the leadership and I see her family smiling from ear to ear.
I’ll spare you the shitshow we had to sit through as we waited for Elder Mathass and former Alpha April to arrive, a few are lucky that they still are breathing. Our Elite Warriors are on edge and if one more Bimbo makes a remark about Janina or Harper, I am not going to stop them from ripping a limb or two off.

Merric and Jarrom are constantly close to these and if Bastian and I let our guard down for a split
second, there will be a massacre. I don’t think I have raised my head in the last fifteen minutes, my nose buried deep in Harper’s dark brown hair and it is the only thing that keeps me in control at the moment.
