Amused by Tabitha’s words, Geneva said coldly, “You’re coming to me now, asking me to go back home. Don’t you know why? Your whole family wants to rely on me. You let me have my way? What right do you have to ask me?”
Geneva was basically trampling Tabitha’s pride in the dirt.
Tabitha looked extremely embarrassed, replying, “Geneva, please, stop fighting with Mom and Dad. It’s all my fault. I’m willing to apologize, to atone. Please forgive Mom and Dad, and please come back home.
“Wouldn’t it be nice for us to be a happy family? Do you really want to punish Mom and Dad for the rest of your life?”
“I know you’re still upset about what happened before, but I didn’t mean it. I didn’t do anything to you.”
Geneva sneered at the words. Tabitha’s words seemed fine at first, but upon closer inspection, it was clear that Tabitha had played a significant role in everything the original host had suffered through, while reaping all the benefits for herself.
Now, she was acting like a martyr while she had gained all the benefits. “Geneva, I know everything between us sisters has come to this because of Stan. I’ve cut ties with him.
“From now on, he’s your man, and I will never have any improper thoughts about him again.”
‘Well, good. No longer wanting Stan, she’s generously giving him up with a magnanimous attitude. It’s like passing on something she’s done with to someone else, yet acting like she’s making a huge sacrifice and expecting others to be grateful.
‘What a dumbass! She thinks everyone else is at her level? How ridiculous,‘ Geneva sneered inwardly.
Barclay also ran over smartly, grabbing Geneva’s hand with a flattering smile. “Aunt Geneva, let’s go home. I will take good care of you in the future.”
Barclay knew very well that if Geneva didn’t go back to the Motley family, his future would be unimaginable.
But Geneva directly shook off Barclay’s hand. “No need. The country will take care of me.”
Barclay’s eyes immediately filled with resentment.
Geneva saw it and laughed. ‘What an interesting kid. If you don’t go along with him, you become his enemy.
‘Wonder if he’ll also hate his mother when Tabitha stops going along with him and can’t give him a good life anymore one day?‘
“Geneva, look, Barclay also really wants you to come back.” Tabitha chimed in.
Geneva’s face was icy cold. “Tabitha, don’t think everyone else is dumb, and you’re not that smart either. You’ve never seen me as your sister; you just saw me as a pathetic loser who’s nowhere near as good as you, throwing around your self- righteous pity.
“Now, our situations have flipped, and you can’t handle it, so you want me back in the Motley family, playing the same old Geneva, to make you look good. Well, you know what? The heights I stand on? You’ll never reach them in your lifetime. The things I want? You can’t even dream of ‘giving‘ them.
“So, pack up all that self–righteous pity and charity. The rest of my life is about creating value, not wasting time listening to your nonsense or arguing over petty stuff. If you come bothering me again, I’ll show you just how cold–hearted I can be.” With that, Geneva turned to leave.
Tabitha shook her head, denying it. “Geneva, that’s not what I meant.”
Seeing her so cold and heartless, even disregarding her own reputation, the Motley family was thrown into complete panic.

Salena shouted loudly, “Geneva, you heartless bitch! Even if you’re so capable, people will laugh at you for abandoning your own parents!”
Geneva glanced back at her. “Of course, I won’t abandon you. I can’t choose my birth, but you did raise me. So, starting three years ago, I’ve been transferring a monthly allowance to your bank account. I’ll continue to do so every month based on the current average expenses.”
Rocky suddenly remembered that for the past three years, there had been a monthly deposit of three thousand dollars into his account.
It turned out that was from Geneva.
‘But what could that little money do? Geneva was casually donating tens of millions here and there, yet only giving her parents three thousand a month? How could she do that? And with that amount, how could the Motley family ever rise again?‘ Rocky complained inwardly.
He looked darkly at Geneva. “Geneva, if you don’t want to accept us now, we won’t force support obligations, let’s talk about that.
But since you.

“Don’t you think it’s a bit off to be donating tens of millions every month but only giving your parents three thousand for living expenses?”
“So, what do you want then? All the money I earn from my hard research work handed over to you? For you to spend? Three thousand a month isn’t enough? Do I have to support not just you but also your daughter and your grandkid?” Geneva retorted.
Salena shouted, “Isn’t that what you should do? You give money to strangers but not to your own parents? Does that make sense?”
“Think whatever you want,” Geneva said, emotionless.
No meant no. If it weren’t for borrowing this body from the original host, she wouldn’t even give them three thousand a month.
As for what others think of her actions, she couldn’t care less.
When one’s strength could dominate everything, the whole world would make way for them.
The next day, Geneva went straight to the dean. “Sir, I heard there’s a new experimental base in the Oxenfurt Mountains. I’d like to request a transfer there.”
The dean was shocked uponhearing this. “Dr. Motley, are you
serious?”
Geneva nodded.
“Do you know how harsh the conditions in the mountains are? Plus, for security reasons, you might be there for decades, possibly until you die, and no one will ever know about your achievements or sacrifices.”
“I don’t care,” Geneva replied. “The tough conditions don’t bother me. As long as I don’t have to see those people anymore and can quietly focus on my research, that’s enough.”
She had already gathered most of what she needed, and with this body likely lasting another few decades, she should use the rest of her life to continue contributing to the country and fulfill the original host’s wishes.
Leaving a lasting name in history must count as living out loud.
However, the dean considered this matter too significant to overlook and, after consulting with higher–ups, ultimately granted Geneva’s request.

Staying here, Geneva could enjoy better conditions, but clearly, heading to the remote base would offer her more room for development and greater achievements.
On the day her application was approved, Geneva packed up and left.
Once in the car, she noticed Conrad was also on board.
“Dr. Motley, looking forward to your guidance in the future.”
Geneva frowned. “You’re coming with me?”
“My grandpa was one of the top scientists in Astaria. I wanna make him proud.” Conrad nodded.
“It’s tough in the mountains, you know.”
