Daniel didn’t manage to avoid it and was knocked to the ground by Edward. This was the first time Edward lost control, throwing punch after punch. If it hadn’t been for the arriving butler to intervene, Daniel might have been beaten to death.
Edward didn’t care about the blood on his hands, staring coldly at the man lying on the ground.
“How much do you hate Sarah that you keep trying to ruin her?” Edward’s voice was full of fury. “Do you know how many people were watching Sarah’s birthday today? Do you realize how many saw your so–called drone performance? How do you think they’ll see Sarah?”
“You want Sarah to be humiliated by the whole world, don’t you?”
“No, I don’t…” Daniel struggled to get up, but as soon as he spoke, he spat blood out.
Edward kicked him in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground again.
“Not what? Daniel, let me tell you. If Sarah didn’t care about you, you would’ve died the day you came to the UK.”
Daniel was knocked to the ground again and lay there, unable to get up. Edward stood there, his voice turning cold and sharp.
“You should know, today is not just Sarah’s birthday. It’s also the day Sarah first found out she’s going to be a mother!”
The words hit Daniel like a bomb. His mind went blank, and he looked at Edward in disbelief.
“You… what did you say?”
Suddenly, a burst of strength surged through Daniel, and he jumped up from the ground, throwing a punch at Edward.
“How dare you? How dare you!”
“How dare you let her get pregnant? She’s still so young!”
Edward still didn’t move, watching Daniel get knocked down by the bodyguards he brought with him.
“How dare you? How about how you dared to throw a sick Sarah into a freezer, or how you dared to beat her almost to
death?”
“How dare you nearly kill her when you were supposed to be taking care of her?”
Edward looked at the man on the floor, his face growing paler, and sneered.
“If you had any sense, you wouldn’t interfere with her again.”
Edward didn’t care what reaction Daniel had. He threw off his bloody coat and returned to the Price family estate.
After cleaning himself up and making sure there was no blood on him, Edward quietly went back to their room.
Looking at Sarah, who was lying on the bed, gently protecting her belly, Edward’s eyes softened. He carefully held her in his arms and fell asleep with her.

The next time Sarah woke up, she found herself in Daniel’s arms.
Seeing her awake, Daniel kissed her softly. “It’s all settled now.”
The heavy feeling that had been hanging in her heart all night finally disappeared.
Sarah leaned closer to him, softly murmuring in agreement.
Before Sarah’s pregnancy started to show, she and Edward quickly began preparing for their wedding.
Though time was tight, they made sure to prepare everything properly.
They first went to the US to get their marriage license and then took wedding photos.
Sarah thought it was incredible that she would take wedding photos with her child in her belly.
The wedding day arrived quickly.
Though the wedding was simple, it radiated luxury at every turn.
To avoid tiring Sarah out during her pregnancy, only their closest friends and family were invited.
From exchanging vows to rings, Sarah and Edward were both fully focused.
When the priest announced that they could kiss, they kissed passionately.
They didn’t separate until much later.
At that moment, there was nothing but each other in their eyes.
The wedding was simple but classy.
It wasn’t until the second day that Daniel, in the US, learned that Sarah and Edward had gotten married.
The impulse to win her back still lingered, but he knew it was no longer possible.
As soon as he closed his eyes, the words Sarah had said in the past echoed in his mind.
“We’ll never interact again, never see each other again. That’s the best ending for me and Daniel.”
But he couldn’t do it.
Daniel knew why, but he still couldn’t accept it.
She was the little girl who once loved him the most.
She was the one he had once cherished so deeply.
