Because of the previous incident, when Edward hosted Sarah’s birthday party, he had arranged for numerous bodyguards to watch every entrance, fearing that Daniel might crash the event. However, to everyone’s surprise, Daniel didn’t show up this
time.
Edward raised an eyebrow when the butler reported this to him, but a sense of unease lingered in his heart, so he instructed the butler to keep people on watch.
This birthday party for Sarah was exceptionally grand. Edward had even rented all the advertising screens in the UK to continuously display the event, and the entire castle was surrounded by fireworks, set to explode the moment Sarah blew out her birthday candles. The whole castle was also adorned with Sarah’s favorite flowers and diamonds.
The birthday gifts from the guests piled up into a small mountain, nearly as tall as the custom–made castle cake Edward had ordered. The highlight of the evening was when Sarah wore the “True Love” heart–shaped necklace that Edward had spent billions on, and together they blew out the candles on the birthday cake.
At the exact moment the candles went out, fireworks exploded outside the castle in the dark sky. The fireworks continued to light up the night until the banquet ended.
Guests left in groups, and Sarah and Edward, as the hosts, stood at the castle’s entrance to bid them farewell. Just as Sarah was about to say something, a myriad of drones suddenly appeared in the sky, glowing and forming various patterns.
Sarah instinctively looked at Edward, asking with her eyes if he had arranged this. But Edward shook his head. He had prepared a separate drone show for Sarah, but certainly not at this moment.
Before they could speak, some guests who had not yet left started exclaiming.
“Oh my gosh, so beautiful!”
“These drone patterns look like they’re confessing to someone.”
“This idea is really romantic!”
As soon as these words were said, both Sarah and Edward’s expressions changed. Sarah, in particular, looked at the drones in the sky with growing unease. The patterns started with Sarah’s figure alone, but midway through, the image became two people. The other guests couldn’t recognize the man, but Sarah immediately recognized him. it was Daniel!
Her mind went blank.
“Is he trying to destroy me?” Sarah thought. Although the billboard for her nationwide live–streamed birthday party had already been turned off, there were still many people lingering on their balconies. Now Daniel was displaying a confession in the sky. Sarah could already predict how crazy the trending topic would be tomorrow.
Edward, too, had realized this. As Sarah’s husband, he couldn’t bear the thought of another man confessing to his wife on her birthday. The consequences were unimaginable.
His face darkened as he immediately ordered the butler to bring down the drones and comforted Sarah, “It’s okay, Sarah, I’ll handle it. This won’t affect you.”
He then arranged for Sarah to be sent back and quickly got into another sports car. The black car sped through London,

Meanwhile, on the other side of London, Daniel stood on a rooftop, watching the distant drone display, his eyes filled with
loneliness.
Years ago, when Sarah first came to the Foster family, her only wish was to have a drone performance at her birthday party. Daniel had, of course, fulfilled her wish. From then on, every birthday, he made sure her wish was never unfulfilled. Until Sarah began to harbor feelings for him, until she became crazy about him.
That was the first time he didn’t give her a drone show on her birthday. He didn’t even celebrate her birthday with her.
Now, after all these years, he was giving her a drone show again. But the person who was supposed to be with him until old age was now with someone else.
Daniel let out a bitter laugh, his loneliness flashing in his eyes before he turned and walked outside.
Just then, a figure suddenly lunged toward him!
