I look around the dining room to see that some females are looking at us with disgust in their eyes and Topaz pushes forward to show everyone that she is not pleased, not that those females seem to notice.
I turn my attention to the closest female, “What is your problem?” I ask with Topaz’s voice combined with mine and I can see that I am making the female uncomfortable, “Good, maybe that will teach them to mind their own business and to respect their rightful Alpha.” Topaz growls in my head.
It takes her a few seconds to look at me again and the disgust is still not gone from her eyes, “They are your Stepbrothers, you can’t take them as your Mates. We will never accept something like that in this Pack, even if it means losing our rightful Alpha. Brock would be better suited as our Alpha and he will have no trouble finding a strong female to become his Luna.” She says as she looks at Brock, but because she turns to look at me she misses the disgusted look on his face and Topaz chuckles in my head.
I ask her if she ever felt her Alpha’s aura and the moment she nods her head I release my aura, knowing it is so much more powerful than Uncle Josh’s aura. She falls to the floor as she can no longer keep herself seated on the chair and the moment I hear her whimper I pull my aura back, “I am the rightful Alpha of Blood Stone Pack and I suggest you show me some respect. You are entitled to your opinion, but disrespect the Mate–bond ever again and I will allow Twilight to deal with you.
I haven’t made a decision yet, but I will tell you this. If I decided to take the Alpha position every Pack- member gets a choice, either accept my Mate–bond or get the fuck out of the territory and that is not negotiable.” I say before I turn my back on her and walk towards Grandpa who starts applauding.
“Very well said, my Dear. I know that Brock doesn’t want the Alpha position and he sure as hell doesn’t want her as his Luna, not after what she did to him years ago.” Grandpa says.
Brock tells us that she had tried to seduce him on multiple occasions and when that failed she had tried to make it look as if she spent the night in his room.
It had backfired, because when she had made it look as if she came out of his room Brock had been on the Beta floor. He had spent the night with his two best friends, watching movies all night long and finally falling asleep on the floor of the living room.
His parents were aware of this and they had just shook their heads before telling her to go home and to stay away from Brock.
I deliberately sat in a seat with my back turned towards the Pack–members, I don’t want to see any of them staring at me and I would like to enjoy my lunch with my family.
We hear stories about my Cousins growing up and Grandpa even tells us a few stories about Uncle Josh growing up, but something tells me that I am not getting all the information from him, he is holding back in telling us about Blood Stone Pack and I know it has to do with the size of the territory.
Once lunch is over Grandpa suggests that my Cousins show us around the Pack–house.
“After dinner we will talk some more about your family and Blood Stone Pack.” Grandpa says before he heads back to the Alpha floor.
Bryson grabs my arm and starts pulling me out of the dining room, I giggle when I hear my Mates growl but it doesn’t stop Bryson and I can hear the rest following us into the hallway.
Bryson tells us that the stairs we used when we entered the Pack–house is guarded twenty four seven.

He points out the cameras that are mounted on the walls and explains that their angles overlap one another to prevent any blind spots.
Brock explains that the more advanced technology became the more they started to use it and right now it covers the entire Pack–house. I can tell that my Mates are very impressed with all the security measures in place. Noah is asking all sorts of questions, while Brock answers each of them.
The hallway leads back to the front of the Pack–house if you take a right turn outside the main dining room and if you turn left it heads to the kitchen and a staircase that leads up to the Alpha floor, it is the staircase we used to get down to the dining room.
This time we walk towards the main living room and I can see that a lot of the Pack–members that were in the dining room are already in the living room, Bryson tells me that Pack–members are not allowed to use the hallway we just walked through.
Nathan’s p.o.v.
I keep a close eye on my surroundings while I have an arm wrapped around Alayah’s waist, I know my Brothers will ask Brock whatever they want to know and I focus on my attention on Alayah and Bryson.
So far the lay–out of the Pack–house reminds me of a labyrinth and Bryson chuckles when I voice my thoughts.
“That was the whole idea behind this Pack–house. Our ancestors wanted to make sure that another attack was doomed from the start, not only by the design of the Pack–house but also by the rules they set in place for visiting Packs.” Bryson responds.
We walk through the living room towards a door and I hear Brock growl behind me. Alayah and I turn around to see him staring at some of the females, but I can tell that other Pack–members are a bit pissed off with them as well and it isn’t until Brock ask them to repeat their words out loud that I understand that whatever they said it was over the mind–link. Before one of the females can say a word six Warriors walk in and each of them grabs a female to lead them away.
None of us asks where they are taking the females because we don’t care, if Brock’s growling was an indication than I think it was rather disrespectful what they said and the fact that Warriors came to take them away corroborates that.
Bryson opens the door that leads to another hallway and this time we are greeted by a lot of Pack–members passing us as we let Bryson guide us through the Pack–house, after an hour or so I stop walking to look around me, “I am totally lost.” I say as I look at Alayah.
Alayah turns around to look around her and tells me how to get back to the main lobby, “How the hell did you remember that?” Brock asks while his Brothers are laughing their asses off, apparently no one else has ever been able to remember the way back and more than one guest has gotten terribly lost over the years.
“Probably the same way I can.” Noah states and I know that he is telling the truth, no one has ever managed to fool him.
Eiji and Noah have always been able to find their way back, no matter how someone tried to fool them and it had always stunned me that they exactly knew in which direction they had to go. I keep walking next to Alayah while I let my mind wander, if I am correct about the lay–out of the Pack–house they build the Pack- house around the Alpha residence.
Yuma wants to explore the Alpha residence after dinner or at first light and I know Noah will accompany me on that adventure. I know that Noah’s mind will be on Alayah’s safety and understanding the lay–out of the Alpha residence will benefit that immensely.

“What happens if someone attacks the territory?” Nikolay asks from behind me and we all stop walking as three Warriors step into the hallway in front of us.
