Nero has just walked out the door when there is a knock on the door and Nikolay gets up to see who is at the door, Nathan taking advantage by quickly sitting on my other side. Crystal walks into the living room and I see her looking around, “Where is Nero?” She asks and something tells me I shouldn’t tell her the truth, so I tell her that she just missed him. “Don’t tell her she went looking for Marc, I don’t know why but just trust me.” I tell my Mates through our mind–link.
She tells me she is sorry about what happened in the dining room and that she will make sure that Alpha Randell addresses this at dinner, “Your Matc–bond isn’t against the Law, they are just jealous you took four hot looking Brothers for yourself.” Crystal says teasingly and I know I am turning a few shades of deep red. “Dad always taught us to follow the Law and to uphold it even if you didn’t agree with it. Anyone in our Pack that would have done what happened in the dining room would have to answer to my Father.
Neither one of us would ever stand in the way of a true Mate–bond and anyone that thinks it is okay to bad mouth any of you because of your Mate–bond has to face me. Too bad for them that I know the Law so damn good and know what I can do, even as the future Luna. Marc is talking to his Father about what happened, like me he doesn’t understand why his Father didn’t respond.” She says and I can feel Noah stiffen beside me.
Crystal is being honest with us, but something about this isn’t sitting well with me and I hope I can figure this out before Crystal leaves the room. “Thank you, Crystal. I needed to hear that, I have been a bit worried about it though. What if Alpha Randell doesn’t intervene when someone bad mouths me or my Mates? I know Marc is my friend, but what if he doesn’t intervene?” I ask her and for a moment she is quiet, really thinking about the questions I asked.
“Well, if Alpha Randell doesn’t intervene Luna Vicki or I can and trust me that I will deal with it. The other question is one I don’t want to think about, but if I find out that Marc is allowing Pack–members to get away with bad mouthing you or worse I might have to rethink our Mate–bond.” She answers and she tells me that Marc agreed with her that they should up hold the Law as the future Alpha and Luna, that he wouldn’t tolerate any misbehavior.
The more Crystal tells me about what Marc told her the stranger this feeling inside me becomes and I decide to ask her another question that has been bothering me, “How did Marc react when he found out there was another future Alpha living in the territory?” I ask her and she actually starts laughing. “He was shocked at first, than he started wondering if he could live with another Alpha in his territory. I asked him to describe you as a person to me, a way of me to get to know you.
I listened to him talk about the girl he met five years ago and how you made it clear to Anton that you didn’t want his position, he told me about how you would always help him and Anton if they got themselves into trouble. I asked him if that sounded like someone that would try to overthrow him and all he could do was laugh his ass off, apparently that was a rather funny thing for him to imagine.” Crystal says and my ability tells me that she is telling the truth, but there is one problem I still feel that something isn’t adding up.
“I actually came here to inform you that Marc and I decided to postpone our Alpha and Luna Ceremony, I told Marc it would be best if we gave you time to decide what you want to do and if you decide you want to become my Beta I need you here for the Ceremony.” Crystal says and I thank her for being so considerate. “We decided that we want to visit Blood Stone Pack, I want to meet the rest of my family and I think they deserve to know the truth about what happened all those years ago.” I tell Crystal.
Before I can change my mind I tell her we will be leaving in an hour and that I will let her know what we have decided to do, “I will make sure you hear from me as soon as possible.” I say before she gets up and tells us she will head back to the Alpha floor, “I left Marc in the office with his Father and I can feel he is a bit agitated.” She says as she walks out of the living room and a moment later we hear the door open and close,

I tell him why Crystal came by and when I tell him that Marc was in the office on the Alpha floor he looks at me in shock, “No way.” He says and before I can answer him Nathan tells him that Crystal had been telling the truth the whole time she was here, carning him a few strange looks from his Brothers. Before anyone can say something there is a knock on the door, but Anton doesn’t wait until one of us opens it for him and he just walks into the living room.
“I would like to come with you if you decide to visit our family, I would like to see for myself if they are this vicious and violent Pack.” Anton says and I see Nero nod his head, but he doesn’t explain why he agrees with Anton. “Fine, you can come and you better hurry because we leave in an hour.” I say and Anton rushes out the door before I can say anything else. I have linked my entire family by the time I am finished packing.
All of us will be visiting Blood Stone Pack and Uncle Paul had already gotten Alpha Randell’s approval to leave Pack territory, so I will be in the company of my Mates and family when I reach my birth right.
