Chapter 14
Immediately, Finn contacted the CEO of the Wilson Group and struck a deal-
When the Wilson CEO went to negotiate with the Mitchell Group tomorrow, he would bring Finn along. In return, Finn would support Wilson’s domestic development.
Early the next morning. Finn specially changed into a handsome gray suit, grooming himself meticulously.
After checking the mirror several times to ensure everything was perfect, he finally left.
At the Mitchell Group, Harper had just finished her morning meeting.
Her secretary reminded her:
“Ms. Mitchell, the Wilson CEO has scheduled a meeting at ten o’clock. He’s waiting in the small conference room.”
“Okay.”
Harper sipped her black coffee, grabbed the documents from her desk, and walked toward the small conference room.
Inside, Finn sat nervously.
He stared at his phone’s lock screen–a photo of Harper–his dark eyes filled with longing.
Soon, the sound of high heels approached from outside, and the conference room door slowly opened.
Finn felt as if the whole world had gone silent as he gazed expectantly at the woman entering.
She wore
a
black business suit, her hair neatly styled, her face bearing a gentle but determined smile.
“Harper!”
Harper frowned slightly, not having time to react before the man embraced her, a scent of mint washing over her.
Finn held her tightly, his voice trembling:
“Harper, I’ve finally found you!”
Harper was about to push him away impatiently when Ethan, who had come to deliver fruit, pulled Finn away first.
The next moment, Ethan positioned Harper behind him.
He looked at Finn, his sharp dark eyes flashing with coldness, his entire body emanating a dangerous killing intent:
“Finn Cooper, after all you’ve done to hurt Harper, how dare you show your face to her?”
Finn was stunned for a few seconds. Just as he was about to explain that he had initially mistaken the wrong person, Harper coldly interrupted:
“Wait, Ethan. Let me clear the room first.”

Chapter 14
This was the Mitchell Group, and this floor still had her employees.
She didn’t want her personal affairs to become public knowledge.
Speaking of which, Harper looked at the silent Wilson CEO, her face cold:
“Mr. Wilson, the Mitchell family will no longer have any business dealings with Wilson, Please leave. We won’t see you out.”
Ethan’s face was equally cold:
“The Carter family will withdraw cooperation with Wilson. You can leave now.”
The Wilson CEO’s face turned ashen.
The secretary immediately gestured for him to leave.
Soon, only Harper, Ethan, and Finn remained in the office.
Finn stared at Harper sitting close to Ethan.
His gaze fell on Harper’s cold face, his heart feeling as if it were being gripped by a hand, painfully squeezed.
The former Harper had always looked at him gently, her eyes full of love for him.
After much thought, Finn finally managed:
“Harper, I’ve already punished Serena. Please come back to me.”
Ethan let out a cold laugh.
Typical Cooper arrogance–actually thinking he could ask for reconciliation!
Harper stared coldly at him, saying flatly:
“We’re done. You must have read the farewell letter.”
Finn’s eyes reddened as he asked desperately:
“Do you have no love for me at all now?”
“None.”
Harper stared at him expressionlessly, responding calmly.
“From the moment I learned you secretly gave my bone marrow to Serena, I didn’t want to love you anymore.”
“Those seven days were my desensitization phase. When I wrote that farewell letter, I never wanted to see you again.”
Upon reflection, Finn was the first man Harper had loved with all her might.
Influenced by her parents‘ loving relationship, the innocent Harper subconsciously believed that if she treated him with

sincerity, he would reciprocate.
To say she had never loved Finn would be a lie.
After all, she had endured those difficult five years of his disability, standing firmly by his side.
But just as she was ready to enter marriage with Finn, this man had repeatedly hurt her for Serena’s sake.
The events of this period would be unbearable for anyone.
She even felt disgusted by him now…
Though Harper hadn’t used harsh words, Finn’s face grew increasingly pale.
“Finn, no matter how you plead now, I won’t turn back.”
“We’ve missed. Let’s be strangers from now on.”
After saying this, Harper didn’t bother to observe Finn’s reaction and took Ethan’s hand, leaving the conference room.
Finn watched Harper’s retreating figure, wanting to chase after her.
But the secretary blocked the doorway first, leaving Finn standing helplessly, watching the pair leave.
All day, Ethan remained in the office with Harper.
When Harper left work that afternoon, Finn followed in his car, but Harper completely ignored him.
In the evening, the butler approached Ethan and Harper with a tablet, hesitantly saying:
“Sir, Madam, there’s a man kneeling at our villa gate. He’s holding some documents and won’t leave no matter how we try to
send him away…”
Harper glanced at the monitor on the tablet.
Finn was kneeling at the entrance, his left hand holding a stack of car purchase contracts, his right hand holding a small sign.
It read ten characters: “Harper, I ordered three racecars you like. Please forgive me.”
Even more dramatically, behind him, two people held a banner-
“Give me one more chance, please? I’m begging for an ex–boyfriend revival card!”
Harper frowned slightly, her heart unmoved:
“Ignore him.”
