Chapter 12
Serena looked at him desperately, water dripping from her hair down her face.
She was utterly miserable now.
“But I’m carrying your child, Finn. The water’s so cold–it could harm the baby.”
“Besides, I’ve been by your side these fifteen years. Don’t you have any feelings left for me?”
“Ha!”
Finn nearly laughed with anger, his tone full of contempt:
“Feelings? If you hadn’t pretended to be Phantom, do you think I would have given you a second glance?”
“Serena Smith, you ruined my life and destroyed Harper’s image of me. Did you think I would forgive you easily?”
“What are you waiting for? Do it!”
The two bodyguards seized Serena and threw her directly into the pool.
Serena could swim, but the pool water was too cold. Soon she was shivering uncontrollably.
She struggled to swim to the edge, but just as her hand touched the pool wall, Finn raised his foot and deliberately stepped on her fingers.
Serena’s face turned pale with pain. She screamed and begged for mercy, eventually unable to bear the pain and falling back into the pool.
Soon, a bright red stain appeared in the clear pool.
Finn dangerously narrowed his eyes, his resentment only slightly eased.
Harper, do you see? – I’ve avenged you. Please come back.
Half an hour later, Serena was taken to the hospital by the bodyguards.
She wanted to resist and struggle, but Finn had already arranged for doctors to terminate her pregnancy no matter what.
The anesthetic entered her body, and Serena quickly lost consciousness.
When she woke again, she lay on a cold hospital bed, her belly now empty.
Serena cried until her eyes were red. She threw a tantrum in the hospital room, frantically smashing everything–pillows, cups, shoes…
The nurse, unable to stop her, had to call Finn:
“Mr. Cooper, if you don’t come soon, she’ll tear the room apart.”

Serena had assumed Finn wouldn’t come.
But surprisingly, Finn soon appeared in the room. Seeing the mess and Serena’s pale face, he said coldly:
“I have two more accounts to settle with you. I was going to wait until you recovered, but it seems your physical condition is quite strong.”
The man spoke casually, but Serena’s eyes filled with fear.
She cowered on the bed, fearfully watching the man before her, without any of the ferocity she had shown ten minutes earlier:
“I… I haven’t recovered yet…”
Finn slowly walked to the bedside, lifting Serena’s chin and saying gravely:
“At the party, didn’t you deliberately tear your mouth and accuse Harper of stuffing the jade bracelet in it?”
“Oh, and you also hit her head with a vase!”
After speaking, Finn clapped his hands.
Two bodyguards brought in a huge box.
When opened, it contained ten vases and half a box of jade bracelets.
Serena guessed her upcoming fate and turned pale with fear, her whole body trembling.
The next moment, she crawled off the bed, kneeling before Finn and repeatedly banging her head:
“I was wrong, truly wrong. I’ll publicly apologize to Harper, I’ll kneel and apologize to her, alright?”
“Finn, considering I just had an abortion, please let me go.”
“Let you go?”
Finn looked down at Serena, his eyes terrifyingly cold:
“Serena Smith, verbal apologies aren’t enough. You must experience everything Harper went through to beg for her forgiveness!”
Finn finished speaking and looked at the two bodyguards.
One quickly bound Serena’s hands, while the other grabbed a handful of jade bracelets and stuffed them directly into Serena’s
mouth.
Serena struggled desperately, but the bodyguard kept shoving them in!
After two minutes, Serena’s mouth corners were completely torn.
Drip–drip–drip-
Blood trickled down her chin onto the floor. Serena’s eyes reddened with pain, tears streaming down.

In the past, if Serena showed the slightest discomfort, Finn would be beside himself with concern.
Now he sat on the sofa, coldly watching her suffer.
“That’s enough. Let’s settle the next account–time to throw some vases.”
