Chapter 334 Stay With Her

I look at Noah as he walks out of the door and I wait a few minutes before I get up to do the same, we will meet at our usual spot in our territory. I don’t run into anyone as I make my way down the stairs and the moment I walk out the backdoor I see the gardens where Khal said Alayah was, but we couldn’t see her. This is where it all went downhill and I hope that whatever Noah came up with will give us a change to apologize to Alayah.
I decide to take the long way to our territory to give myself some time to think about what I want to say to Alayah, if I get a change to say anything that is and I prepare myself mentally that she will tell us to get out of her life and to stay out. It takes me a few seconds before I realize someone is walking next to me and as I turn my head I see Anton beside me.
“What are you doing out here?” He asks and as I look around me I see that I got a little bit of course.
“Just thinking about today, my Brothers are sulking and so are our Lycans. I just hoped that walking would clear my head a little and maybe I will find out where this all went down the tube. Have you ever seen Alayah react like that?” I ask Anton as I sit down on a tree trunk, looking towards the northern border of Crimson Moon Pack and after a small hesitation he sits down next to me.
“No, I have never seen her like this and it scares the shit out of me.” He says.
I let his answer run through my mind but before I can respond he jumps up, “Sorry, Alpha Randell wants to see me in his office. Any idea where Nero is?” Anton asks.
“Last time I saw him he was still on the Gamma floor, but if he isn’t there he might have let Miku out for a run.” I reply before Anton walks away from me and the moment he is out of sight I head towards our territory.
“Nero, I hope you are out of the Pack–house. Alpha Randell wants to talk to you, Marc and Anton.” I say as I use our mind–link, as siblings we have a link that no one can interrupt.
“I am nearing our territory and with me not initiated into Crimson Moon Pack they can’t use the mind–link.” Nero responds but Noah is quick to point out that Crystal can still link him and I know he will put up a block to prevent her from linking him, we all decide to put up a block.
“Anton didn’t ask if Alayah is really your Mate.” Khal says before he turns his back on me again and now I have one more thing to think about. Why wouldn’t Anton ask about that? Mara was very clear when she scolded us and I know they all heard what she said, it wasn’t as if she was whispering. I bet that if any Pack- members had been walking around the area they would have heard her, but Anton didn’t mention it at all.
I am the last one to arrive at the cottage that once belonged to our Grandparents, Nathan is pacing in front of the window and the moment I step inside he asks Noah what is on his mind.
“Grandfather never said we couldn’t tell Alayah about her bloodline, he just said it should remain a secret if it could stay a secret and telling Alayah the truth doesn’t mean we are making it public. So, I want to go home and see if she is willing to listen to us.
I want to tell her what Grandfather told us, including the piece where he said it should remain a secret and I hope she will also allow me to explain why I said what I said. If she doesn’t want to listen to us I want to tell Dad and Mara, maybe she is willing to listen to them and after that I hope she is willing to at least talk to us again.” Noah explains and I smile as I realize that Noah is correct, Grandfather didn’t make us swear
to secrecy.

is filled with silence…
Dad looks a little surprised when we step into the living room, but before he can ask what we are doing there Mara walks into the living room, “Have you seen Alayah? She was gone when I woke up a moment ago.” She says and Dad gets up with a smile on his face, he doesn’t say a word as he walks down the hall to stop in front of my room.
“The only bed she hasn’t woken up in yet.” He states as he opens the door and there is our Angel curled up in my bed wearing an oversized shirt.
Mara walks over to Nathan’s room and as she opens the door we see clothing scattered all over the floor, telling us she is wearing one of his shirts.
“How did you know?” Nero asks as he looks from Nathan’s room to my bed and Mara tells us that during the weekend she woke up in another bed every morning except for this morning,
“This was the only room she hadn’t slept in, but the problem is that she doesn’t know how she got there. I don’t know if it means anything that she is asleep in your bed, Nikolay. I just hope that the four of you understand that she has shut off her feelings.” Mara says.
Before she explains to us what Grandma told her over the phone and a part of me hopes that the reason she is in my bed has to do with her figuring things out, it doesn’t mean that we don’t have to explain certain things to her but she might be willing to listen. I keep looking at our Angel when I feel the others walking away and I step into the room to stay with her.
