Chapter 329 Truthful
Alayah’s p.o.v.
No one seems interested in inviting Blood Stone Pack, but Can’t get away with not inviting them and when I tell them that Noah really loses it. His Lycan forces the shift and he stalks towards me, but Dad steps in between us. “Eiji, calm the fuck down. Alayah is right, as the future Alpha and Luna Marc and Crystal have to invite them. It is protocol and they can’t break protocol, all they can do is put safety measures in place.” Dad says.
Eiji isn’t calìning down much and I link Momto ask Alpha Gordon to order him to calm down. Alpha Gordon gives Eiji an Alpha order to calm down and after that Noah is able to get control back, “What the fuck was that about, Noah?” Dad growls and I see most of them staring at one another, looks like they know something I don’t. “Nothing, Dad. I just don’t like them coming to our territory, we never had to deal with them before.” Noah answers, which is a big fat lie.
Looks like I found my other gift, I can tell when someone is lying. I link Grandma to ask if something happened while I was at Autumn Pack, but like Noah Grandma decides to lie to me and something tells me that I will find my answer in Blood Stone Pack.
“I needed some time to think.” Topaz says and I feel relieved to have her back, she retreated after Noah’s answer to Mom’s question to reappear right now.
“I revisited your memory about the Mate–bond and the sibling bond that Grandma explained to you, she said that those bonds form almost in the same fashion. With the difference that a sibling bond forms faster than a Mate–bond, but it will still take a day or so to form the sibling bond. Have you tried to link one of them after you tested it on Nero?” Topaz asks and I have to tell her I didn’t try again, but right now is as good a time as any other time.
“Why did you lie to Dad?” I ask Noah and he literally tumble out of his seat. He looks at me as he gets up from the floor and Mom is looking from Noah to me.
“What happened?” Mom asks and when I tell her I linked him she starts laughing.
“I asked him why he lied to Dad, but I doubt he will answer that question. Alpha Randell and Alpha Gordon, I will send both of you an oversight of the Pack’s finances. You will be able to make a decent decision based on those numbers and in a few days I would reveal th
thief if I were you, Alpha Gordon.” I say as I get out of my seat.
“Mom and Dad, I would like the two of you to come with me to see Grandma and anyone that knows why Noah lied.” I say as I walk out of the Alpha office and I am surprised to see that only Beta Jacob and Alpha- Gordon stay seated.
“If the two of you would like to know what this is about I suggest you follow us.” I say as I look around the office at the people I thought were my family and friends.
I can sense that Grandma is in the backyard and the moment I step into the backyard she stops talking, Grandfather and Uncle Rex are with her.
“Too bad he never was able to finish his journal or you might have known I could have the gift of hearing and the gift of truth. I know you lied to me when I asked you about the past few days, Grandma. I know that almost everyone behind me is aware of something that I am not.” I say before I turn towards Mom.
“Mom, I don’t hold anything against you and Dad. What I am about to say isn’t addressed to either one of you! I say before it turn back to Grandma. “I thought you were my family and friends, but apparently that means you get to lie to me and to keep things from me I always suspected that Grandfather hadn’t told

me everything, but I had hoped he would come clean when the time was right and again I was mistaken.
I don’t care why no one told me when I found out about my bloodline, but I do care that none of you thought to inform me the second you were told the whole truth. I will return with Alpha Gordon to Autumn Pack to think about my future, but I suggest you find someone else to do the bookkeeping.” I say as I turn on my heel to walk back to the Pack–house.
Topaz has been quiet through it all and I can tell she agrees with me one hundred percent. We never liked it if someone was dishonest with us or trying to keep a part of the truth from me and Grandma knows how we react when someone does something like this to us. We just stop talking and interacting with people that lie to us or that keep a part of the truth from us and Grandma has seen me do it my entire life.
I can already hear you think, what about your Mother. Well, Mom never lied to me, she just left every time she wanted or needed to. I have packed another bag by the time Anton walks into my room, “Alayah, what are you doing?” He says and I can see my Stepbrothers standing behind him, I just shake my head as I grab the picture from my nightstand to place it in my bag.
“Alayah.” Anton says as I walk past him but I don’t respond, if he doesn’t remember my words I am not going to remind him. Mom and Dad are waiting for me on the landing and I see Uncle Paul looking at me as if he wants to say something, but Grandfather clearing his throat makes Uncle Paul look away.
“Great, now the old geezer determines if others can say something to us.” Topaz growls in my head and without saying another word I walk down the stairs.
Grandma is standing in the lobby and I can tell that she is nervous, she is fidgeting with her hands as she looks at me. She looks up at me and I see her looking over my shoulder at Grandfather, again he seems to stop someone from saying something to me. I just hope he realizes that he just made sure I will have a very hard time to forgive any of them and by the time one of them might come looking for me I will be on my way to Blood Stone Pack.

I just hope I can find the answers I am looking for and hope they will at least be truthful to me.
