“You better prepare yourself, Anton. She told me she has been able to kick your ass for a few years now and the only reason she hasn’t is because you haven’t pissed her off enough, least not yet. Maybe accusing her of lying is enough for her to finally kick your ass.” Crystal says and Anton looks horrified at the thought of getting his ass kicked by Alayah, something I would like to see.
For some reason Nikolay is able to calm Anton down, “Calm down, Anton. She will be back on Monday and I doubt she is still angry with us or she would have send the message Crystal got to your Father or to Alpha Randell. She probably figured out by now what actually happened and will realize that none of us was aware of her abilities, maybe she wasn’t even aware of using her gift herself.” Nikolay says and it seems as if he just settled all our minds.
I think deep down each of us feared that Alayah would still be angry with us and that she would hold a grudge for not believing her, but that each of us was afraid to face that possibility. I heard a few stories about Alayah from different Pack–members and it showed me that Alayah is always thinking two steps ahead of everyone else, keeping everyone’s best interest at heart.
Marc asks us what we think of the Pack–house and Nathan starts pointing out everything that is different from our Pack–house, telling Marc he is moving here permanently. “I love the fact that I can sit in my own room to do whatever I want, I can watch tv or read a book and not get interrupted by the three Stooges.” Nathan says, earning him a smack on the head from Nero while Nikolay and I just growl at him. “Well, you might change your mind when the new Pack–house is done.” Crystal says teasingly.
“Does she realize we might not live here for long? If Alayah decides to take her rightful place as the Alpha of Blood Stone Pack and she accepts us as her Mate, than we will be moving to Blood Stone Pack with her. Do you know what their Pack–house looks like?” Eiji asks me and I think about this for a while, Alayah is the rightful heir to the Alpha title. Meaning that we as her Mates will move with her, if she accepts our Mate–bond as we have.
I get pulled from my thoughts when I hear Crystal yell, “No way in hell. I am not going to live on a floor with all of you.” I look at my Brothers who are all pointing at Anton and I am afraid to ask what I missed, but Anton decides to safe me the trouble. “Why not? If we make the top floor of the new Pack–house into three apartments we can live there together, I am not saying we have to eat every meal together up there and I am not saying that we have to spend every moment of every day together. Each apartment would have a kitchen, a living room and a dining room, just in case you want to spend some time with just your family and if the Pups want to play together they don’t have to go up or down the stairs.
Besides, it is easier and cheaper to put security measures in place on one floor than it is on four floors and maybe we can have an apartment for our Deltas as well. I am not saying this is how it has to be, I am just making a suggestion.” Anton says and at first I want to agree with Crystal, living on the same floor as the Beta and the Alpha isn’t my idea of fun.
However, Anton has a valid point when it comes to security measures and as I start thinking about it more I feel that he has a point. It means the entire leadership is protected and the strongest members of the Pack are in one place, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. It will mean there are more Lycans around to protect any Pups living on the top floor, but it also means that the enemy can corner the entire leadership at
once.
“If they decide to move the Alpha, Beta and Gamma onto one floor we will be living there as well. Alayah will have four Mates and not one as Anton probably thinks.” Eiji says and with that fact in mind it might be better if Erick has an apartment on the top floor too. I watch as Crystal keeps asking Anton questions and I see Nathan drawing as Anton talks about his vision for the new Pack–house, getting all the details in that Anton mentions.

Crystal makes sure lunch is brought up to us, we are too busy discussing the layout of the apartment to go down to the main dining room and once that is done we move on to the rest of the Pack–house. We decide to start with the ground floor and just as we start talking about the layout two Omegas walk in to take the plates and mugs back to the kitchen, one of them looks as if she wants to say something but is afraid to do so. “What’s on your mind?” I ask her.
She looks towards Marc before she answers my question, “Could you connect the kitchen to the dining room? Right now we have to cross the hall to bring everything from the kitchen to the dining room and vice versa and we have been scolded more than once by females for spilling something on them, while they were the ones that didn’t pay attention to their surroundings.” The Omega explains and I hear Crystal groan because the same situation applies to Autmn Pack.
I ask if there is anything else we need to take into consideration and after looking at each other we get asked for some rooms in the Pack–house to accommodate those that had a late shift or have an early shift. “It would be easier if we didn’t have to head back to the house after a late shift and we don’t have to get up to early if we have an early shift.” One of them states, after they have left we talk about their requests and we decide to make at least two floor for unmated males and females.
We also decide to move the dining room and kitchen to the ground floor, making it easier to move from the main dining room to the main living room and Marc suggests to move the offices to the first floor, starting with a huge sitting area with the Alpha office and a meeting room to the side. Behind it we will have our private offices, only accessible by our high–ranking Lycans.
I like what Nathan has drawn so far and as we take a look at them we talk about moving every unmated male and female into the Pack–house, while families get a change to have a cottage of their own. “Okay, lets discuss that with Alayah. We need to be able to do this financially and I want to make sure no one can get into a room that doesn’t belong to them.” Crystal says.
