Alayah’s p.o.v.
Mom asks me how the gifts are named that were written down, “I think my Great–Grandfather called it the gift of camouflage, I must have blended in with the rosebush as I was staing at it. So I guess we were all telling the truth, but I am not sure how to explain this to them. The other one I discovered yesterday is called the gift of hearing and it basically means that my hearing is better by tenfold.” I say as I look at Mom, but it is the look in Dad’s eyes that worry me.
“Baby Girl, why would you be mad at Noah for telling a female he never felt the connection? I know he would tell me if he ever found a female his Lycan felt a connection to.” Dad asks me and I stare at my hands before I take a deep breath.
“Because if Grandma told me the truth they should have felt a connection to me, just like Topaz feels the connection to them.” I mumble and I feel a hand cupping my face, forcing me to look up.
I see that Kiba is close to the surface, “Topaz, do you feel a connection to one of my Sons?” Kiba asks and I smile as Topaz pushes forward.
“No, Dad. I feel it to all your Sons.” Topaz answer Kiba and for a moment I see anger flash through his eyes, but it vanishes quickly as he smiles at us.
“Why would they try to hide that connection?” Mom asks. “There is no law against a Mate–bond between Stepsiblings and Alpha Randell will never force you to reject one another, he even forces combined families to tell their Pups the truth.”
Dad and I are staring at Mom and she quickly explains what almost happened to her friend, I sigh in relief as Mom tells me she would never stop our Mate–bond from forming.
“I think I might know why they didn’t say anything. First of all they would want to make sure if each of them felt the connection.” Dad says and I actually growl as I finally understand the full reason of their test.
I tell Mom about the little visits they paid me after reaching Crimson Moon Pack and we both understand what they were doing, “Not the smartest bunch, I tell you.” I mumble and Dad chuckles.
“They have also seen enough people talking others down because they believed they did something wrong and my Sons are over–protective asses. They also believe only their Mate can tell them apart, but with the amount of people who have proven them wrong already I have a feeling they think you can’t be their Mate.
They will also think that the connection their Lycans feel are that of a sibling bond.” Dad says and Mom and I yell, “Bullshit.” at the same time.
“If it had been a sibling connection they would have been able to link me immediately and it was the first thing I tried when I felt the connection with Nero. Are you sure those Sons of yours graduated high school?” I ask as I run my hand through my hair.
Mom asks Dad how long it took for her to link with his Sons after they had been marked and mated, not the kind of information I need to hear but fine. Dad starts laughing his ass off and I ask Mom to fill me in on the joke.
“It was a joke alright.” Mom says. “Those boys were constantly pulling pranks on their Dad, but he was never able to get back at them and I asked him to make them a breakfast that could cover them from head to toe with one wrong move.

I told him to start recording with his phone. I had been in the living room the entire time but they were oblivious to that fact and as I linked all four of them at the same time I yelled Boo, causing all four of them to drop their food from their hands.” Mom says as Dad starts playing a video for me.
Oh, Fuck. This is hilarious, Noah has mushrooms and egg in his hair and Nathan looks as if he is about to cry with his shirt covered in egg yolk. Nero looks pissed as hell as the egg yolk runs down his face, while Nikolay has the egg yolk in his hair and a piece of mushroom is slowly gling into his shirt. I can hear Mom and Dad in the background laughing their asses off and I hear all four of them growl as they stomp out of the kitchen.
“Damn, Mom. I thought Grandma was bad, but she is a toddler compared to this.” I say and both of us are in stiches. Mom and I stay on the Gamma floor the rest of the afternoon and instead of having dinner with the rest of the Pack we have dinner on the Alpha floor. Dad comes to get us and two other Warriors follow us up the stairs.
I can hear there are two people in the living room as we enter the Alpha floor and when I walk into the room I see Alpha Gordon and Beta Jacob softly talking, “I don’t like this, Gordon. What if she had decided to work through lunch?” I hear Beta Jacob whisper and I see anger flashing through Alpha Gordon’s eyes, apparently he doesn’t like that idea either. Before he can answer Beta Jacob Dad makes our presence known and he quickly calms himself down.
“Alayah, is everything okay? I don’t understand why someone would do this?” Alpha Gordon asks and Topaz tells me that he is genuinely concerned as is Beta Jacob.
“I am fine, Alpha Gordon. Whoever ransacked the office would never have found what they were looking for.” I tell him as I sit down on the couch, but when he asks me what I mean I don’t answer him. I can hear someone at the door and I have no idea who it is or if I can trust them.
“Alpha, we are here to serve dinner.” I hear someone say and moments later I see three Omegas walking by the living room. I assume they are heading to the dining room but I am still not taking any changes, I ask Alpha Gordon how he feels about the merger with Crimson Moon Pack and he seems to understand that I will not answer his other question for now.
“Well, I am glad I don’t have to run a Pack that size. I mean, at the moment only Blood Stone Pack has more members and they will be just a tiny bit smaller than Autumn Moon Pack after the merger.” He answers me and I nod my head as I try to remember what Grandma taught me about Blood Stone Pack.
“Alpha, we have set up everything and we will be in your kitchen if you need anything.” One of the Omegas says and she looks really annoyed when Alpha Gordon tells her that they can leave.
