Chapter 3
But not a single word from Lynne.
Tina Susan glanced up at the framed photo on the wall.
It was a picture of her in Lynne’s arms, smiling sweetly and happily, as if she had the whole world.
Lynne, on the other hand, was indifferent, his handsome face cold, his eyes deep and unreadable, with no
expression.
She let out a self–deprecating laugh and moved a chair to take the frame down.
Just then, the door opened.
Lynne walked in.
His handsome face was dark, his presence exuding an air that made people want to stay away.
When he saw Tina Susan standing on the chair, he walked over quickly, furrowing his brows. “Why are you standing so high?”
Tina Susan smiled faintly. “Why are you back so soon?”
Lynne picked her up from the chair and kissed her lips. “Silly girl, did you forget what day it is?”
A sudden wave of emotion rushed over her, and she couldn’t stop the tears welling up in her eyes.
Lynne cupped her face and kissed her eyes. “Don’t feel wronged. I remember, okay?”
Tina Susan lowered her long eyelashes, her heart full of resistance. She pushed him gently.
He pulled her into a tight embrace, chuckling softly. “Did you think I forgot your gift? Come on, let’s go see it.”
He took her hand and led her toward the door.
When they stepped outside, a red Ferrari was parked in the yard.
It was a car worth over ten million, perfect for a young girl like her.
He placed the keys in her hand, looking at her with indulgence. “Happy birthday, do you like it?”
Tina Susan smiled. “I like it.”
She almost asked, Is this a breakup fee?
Lynne Frank lowered his head and kissed her ear.
Through the thin fabric, his lips brushed against her skin.

His breath grow heavier as he beat down, lifting her in his arms, and began to walk toward the room.
Tina Susan frowned, wondering how to refuse, when his phone rang again.
She could
help but feel a little self deprecating. There was no need for her to think of an excuse to refuse; it always seemed so coincidental–every time, there was a phone call.
He gently ser her down, ruffled her hair, and said, “Go change into a dress. I’ll take you somewhere later.”
Tina Susan felt like she had been granted a pardon and quickly turned to head upstairs.
Behind her, she heard huu answer the phone. “Hello, Chilly…
Tina Susan returned to her room and changed into a royal blue silk satin gown.
The skirt reached just above her knees, revealing a little cleavage, while the back was mostly exposed, though her long, dark hair covered it
She applied light makeup, put on a pair of pearl stud earrings, and went downstairs.
Lynne Frank was still on the phone. When he saw her coming down, his gaze froze.
Royal blue was the color that most tested one’s complexion.
But Tina Susan’s skin was pale and delicate, exuding a noble elegance.
The fitted satin dress was meant to accentuate the figure.
But Tina Susan’s body was flawless perfect, without a single imperfection.
Her features were exquisite, her demeanor graceful Even without luxurious jewelry, she was the center of attention.
Lynne Frank hung up the phone, stuffed it in his pocket, and reached out to pull her into his arms. He kissed her lips, unable to stop himself.
“Why aren’t you wearing that diamond necklace?”
Tina Susan smiled faintly. “It’s too expensive.”
Lynne Frank shrugged. “I bought it for you to wear. Tomorrow I’ll get you something even better.”
Tina Susan held up the car keys in her hand. “Let’s go. I can’t wait to drive my new car.”
Lynne Frank affectionately rubbed the back of her head. “Alright, let’s go.”
Once in the car, Lynne Frank sat in the passenger seat, setting the GPS.
Tina Susan noticed that the destination was an exclusive members–only club located in the suburbs, where the annual fee alone cost 500,000.
They had come here once before, for Lynne Frank’s birthday last year. Just the two of them, they stayed for two

days, barely leaving their room.
He had been drained by her, and she ended up in the hospital.
Tina Susan furrowed her brows, realizing that he probably wanted to celebrate her birthday the same way.
But she no longer had the enthusiasm or desire for it. The thought of it disgusted her.
During the drive, all she could think about was how to escape. She felt they were arriving soon.
The electric gate opened, and the red Ferrari slowly drove in, stopping in front of a charming two–story building.
