It takes most of the day for the Law–enforcers to interview everyone and to search every room in the Palace, but in the end they come up with nothing
Instead of anyone staying behind in the hope of finding, a chonen Mate, everyone leaves the Palace the moment they are free to leave and we are actually the first ones to leave. Our drive home is done in illence. but I know the questions will come once we are home.
Dad is waiting for us on the front porch and after I huy him, he leads me to the stairs. “We better have this talk up on the Alpha floor.” He says and I don’t ask any questions as I follow him up the stairs.
The moment the door closes behind us on the Alpha floor, Dad turns towards me. “What did you give them?” He asks and I walk over to the window, just staring out over our territory without actually seeing, something.
“I gave him Enigurey. It is a potion that consists of Abilbicin with crushed Prugher berries, out Acicory and cut Grelia. It travels through a person’s blood and every time it reaches an organ they go through excruciating pain, it takes up to twenty four hours to dissolve” I say,
It is completely quiet behind me, no one says a word and I know I haven’t told them everything yet. “Is that all the potion does?” Dad asks and I turn back towards him.
“No, once the poison has been dissolved by the blood it will take about two hours before the next stage starts. It will start to attack the body from the inside out, but no one will see that until it is too late. The victim will not be able to move or speak and his or her other half can’t help them heal Until the victim dies. he or she will be in pain.” I say.
“And our so–called Queen?” Dominic asks.
“She is fighting an internal battle with her own demons. I used Asparaprox on her, a potion that consists of Silverleaf Leptonia, Doquli and Igrimille. It gets boiled in Kichoresco, until the ingredients have dissolve in the liquid.” I answer him and I know that they all are aware of the effects of Silverleaf Leptonia.
I already know how I want to take down all the other major culprits in this case and it will take some time to get the potions ready I want to use on these individuals. I need a good night’s rest before I can start making the potions and I think my Mates want to give me a hand in carry out the assignment.
“Lets get some dinner and turn in for the night. Tomorrow morning I would like to hear what you have planned for the rest of them.” Dax says and he lifts Delaney from Dominic’s lap.
Levi lifts me bridal style, before he leaves the Alpha floor to head home. I just want to enjoy the proximity of my Mate, but apparently I am more tired than I had thought. I place my head on his shoulder and close my eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep in his arms.
When I wake in the early morning hours, I slowly detangle myself from the arms and legs that hold me captive and I walk down the stairs to the kitchen to make some coffee. While the coffee is, running I walk up to the attic to get the journal with potions and I grab a pen and notepad as well.
I place my coffee on the small table next to an armchair and after getting comfortable I open the journal, I read through every recipe meticulously. I need potions that will inflict a lot of pain and do a lot of damage to the person involved.

have to do with them. Some potions can be made within a short amount of time, while others will take a lot longer because of the process an ingredient has to go through.
“In need of some more coffee?” I hear Mack whisper and I just nod my head, as I write down the name of the next potion. I lift my eyes to see Kay and Levi lying on the bed, fast asleep and in each other’s arms.
“I already took a picture and send it to Dax.” I hear Mack whisper, who has returned with another cup of coffee for me.
“That is mean, Mack. He will tease them with it every change he gets.” I whisper back with a huge smile on my face.
For the next half hour I keep writing on my notepad and Mack just sits there, looking at me as he enjoys his
coffee.
I go over the list of ingredients, as I turn back the pages to the recipe. I need to be sure I have everything I am going to need and I would hate to miss an ingredient or to have to take another potion instead, it is just the way I work.
Suddenly screams from the bed pull my attention away from the journal and I see Kay and Levi trying to get away from one another, but somehow they managed to get themselves tangled in the sheet. The more they try to get away from one another, the tighter the sheet wraps around them and Mack is trying to capture it all on video.
I am not sure what that video will show us, but I think we will be seeing more of the ceiling ang the floor, than of my Mates trying to detangle themselves. Mack can’t hold the phone steady, he is too busy laughing his ass off and Fortune and I aren’t doing much better.
Kay is the first one to give up the fight, but Levi seems determined to get as far away from Kay as he can and Mack falls of the couch the moment Levi manages to free himself. He put so much strength behind his last attempt to get free, that he falls out of bed and slams into the wall.
I look at Kay to see his lips twitching and the second we both turn towards Levi, he bursts out in laughter.
It is a good thing Levi is a Lycan, otherwise we would still be seeing the bruise on his forehead and that would have caused us to crack up every time we would look at him.
Mack was looking at his phone with disappointment in his eyes, there was hardly any evidence of their struggle as I suspected and Levi smiles when he sees what Mack did capture in the video.
“I wouldn’t change careers if I were you, you would make a lousy cameraman.” Levi says and Mack tries to grab him, the moment he walks out of the room.
“Okay, I have everything I need on paper. Let’s see what I have in the attic and what we need to get for these potions.” I say as I follow Levi out of our bedroom.
