Harvey makes a beeline for a laptop on a table in the left corner of the room and the others spread out through the building in search of any Pups he might have here.
Maleah instructs us on what to do with Caym and when I see her grabbing her bag I know she will get the answers she wants from him, she just smiles as she places everything on another table.
Pauline finally shows up with an angry look in her eyes and Maleah disappears in the direction she came from. Before we can ask Pauline what she found a mighty roar shakes the windows in their sills and Kay is the first to jump into action, following the scent of our Mate.
What I saw next made my heart stop beating for a moment, dead bodies spread across a room, each of them with a collar around their neck with a chain attached to it and on the other end the chain was attached to an iron ring in the floor.
None of these bodies belonged to a grown up, each of them in different stages of decay and realizing that some of these Pups might still have been alive while the others started to decay has me throwing up whatever it was I had in my stomach.
Maleah turns around with a stone cold face and walks past us with determination in her step, someone is going to get the raw end of this deal.
“Wake him up.” Maleah growls and two of her team members rush over to Caym. It only takes them seconds to get him conscious again and I nearly start laughing when I see him looking at us with fear in his
eyes.
“You don’t have to fear them.” Maleah says to draw his attention towards her and I see him looking at her strangely.
“Miss D’Angelo, what are you doing here? This isn’t a place for a female like you.” He says before he lets his eyes move back to Levi, Kay and myself.
“As I already said you have nothing to fear from them, it is me you should be afraid of. I came here to get a few answers from you, but after seeing what is in the basement I don’t want answers from you anymore. I am going to make you pay.” She growls and hearing her voice interlaced with Fortune’s sends a chill down my spine.
His head snaps towards Maleah in time to see the small punch dagger she is holding in her hand, but before he can say a word she has slammed it between his ribs and he screams out in pain. She slams three more of them in to various places across his body, I get a smirk on my face the moment I see her grabbing the water with dried Daciocely and I hope she will use it a bit more on Caym than she did on Jason.
She doesn’t ask him anything as she makes cut after cut into his body and the second he passes out she steps aside to give some room to the two females that woke him the first time, he shoots up straight as he screams loudly.
Maleah grabs a brush and bottle from her bag and I remember what it did to Jason, not that I am completely sure what is does.
All I know is that it hurt Jason like hell and that he didn’t want her to repeat it on his other arm. The liquid has barely touched his arm or Caym starts screaming and begging for Maleah to stop.

She isn’t doing this to get answers, she is doing this to get justice and there is nothing any of us can do to stop her. Caym will suffer a thousand deaths before she will finally end him, she will take her anger out on him. If one of the others had been here instead of him they would have gotten this treatment, because Maleah understands that she needs to take the rest of them out quickly.
Caym even pleads with us to make her stop, but we just stand there with our arms crossed in front of our chest and again I thank the Goddess that Malcah is on our side. I doubt there would be a Blood Crescent Pack left if she would have turned against us over the years and none of us would have been able to put a stop to her reign of terror if she had come after us.
“Boss, are you done anytime soon?” Harvey asks and Maleah looks up at him. “Okay, got it. You’re still busy.” He mumbles as he turns back to the laptop and I can’t help myself as I burst out in laughter, where the hell did he get the guts from to interrupt Maleah.
But when I look again at the two of them I notice that Caym seems to relax a little and I believe that Harvey did it on purpose.
Maleah walks over to Harvey and looks over his shoulder at the screen, “Not really the smartest, is he?” He asks as he points at the screen and Maleah walks back to the table with her tools.
“Caym, I know that you are aware of the fact that the Angel of Death is after you and I assume you know that the Angel of Death has a few very excruciating plans for you and your friends.” Maleah says as she grabs something of the table that makes me step back.
All Caym can do is nod his head and we can hear him gulp when she turns towards him, “Well, due to a bit of time pressure I can’t really do to each of you that I had planned and I feel a bit disappointed about that.” She says as she walks towards him and he looks at her in confusion.
“Ohh, you hadn’t figured out yet that I am the Angel of Death.” She mumbles as she turns one side of the item she is holding and I see true fear in Caym’s eyes when small knifes appear.
The two females that woke him up earlier place a table behind him and I look at them as they bend him over the table, tying his arms and legs to the table legs. Kay looks from Caym to the device in Maleah’s hand and suddenly I see his eyes widen as if he understands what is going to happen, Levi gasps when the females rip Caym’s clothes of his body.
Caym seems to understand exactly what Maleah is going to do and the moment she slams the device in his ass I understand what is going to happen, she leans closer to him as she tells him that he will be found in a very public place.
“Anyone that ever had any dealings with you will understand who did this and that they are no longer safe She says just before she turns the tiny knob at the bottom of the device and I am surprised that he isn’t making a sound.
As he gets dragged to a van in front of the building we can see that he is in pain, but it takes an explanation from Maleah to understand exactly what is going on. The females get into the van without saying a word. and drive off to do whatever it is Maleah told them to do.
