Titan is on high alert, he has been ever since Malcah told us about Delaney and what her former Pack- members did to her. I have my arm around her waist to keep Titan calmed smile when Levi steps next to her and Mack wraps his arms around her waist from the back.
Elyse guides our new Pack–members into the Pack–house, while the members of Maleah’s team move into position around the SUVs and I can tell that each of them is well trained.
It takes about another five minutes before another SUV pulls to a stop in front of the Pack–house and I see Alpha Craig exit the vehicle, “Alpha Dax, I demand to see my Daughter.” He says as he closes the door of the SUV and he tries to get through the Assassins that block his way.
“I am sorry, Alpha Craig, but who is your Daughter?” Dax asks him as he keeps standing behind us and everyone can see that Alpha Craig is getting angry.
“She just arrived here in those SUVs.” He says as he points at the SUVs in front of us.
Dominic turns around and asks his Father to get the females that just arrived at the Pack–house,
“They will be out shortly, I didn’t know that one of them was your Daughter.” Dominic says. “I don’t believe I ever met her during one of our visits to your Pack, did you?” He asks and I know he is addressing his Brothers, but both tell him that they can’t remember meeting her either.
Which in itself is an insult to a visiting Alpha, every Alpha gets to meet the Alpha, the Luna and their Pups during a Pack visit.
It has two benefits: first of all an Alpha gets to find out if there might be a connection to an Alpha blooded female and secondly it means that an Alpha will know who he is dealing with in the future.
I don’t believe it was an accident that our Alphas never met her and I believe no other Alpha met her either, she is the only Pup Alpha Craig has. If she was introduced to an Alpha that felt a connection to her, there would be no one left to take over his Pack.
Max tells Dominic that the females are on their way down and we all know that neither one of them is Alpha Craig’s Daughter, in the meantime I link one of our Warriors to get the footage from the camera that is mounted to the front of the Pack–house.
It will show him that his Daughter never got out of those vehicles, if he makes a big scene and asks for proof that she isn’t in our Pack–house. I can sense that our Alphas are stepping aside and Alpha Craig has the audacity to growl in their direction.
“No, you are hiding her in your Pack–house.” He growls and the Warrior I linked walks up to him to show him that his Daughter never got out of the SUVs.
“These are the only females that came out of those SUVs, Alpha.” He says as he starts playing the foot another male gets out of the SUV and steps next to Alpha Craig.
“Where is my Mate?” He yells as he looks up from the screen.
“Who is your Mate?” Dax asks as he steps of the front porch.

“He is lying, he isn’t marked and she wasn’t at the Pack when she turned eighteen.” Maleah growls trough the mind-
link.
“Alpha Craig, I hope you don’t mind me asking this question and I want you to understand I mean no disrespect.” Dax says. “If your Daughter is his Mate, then why isn’t he marked?” He asks and I hear the others chuckle through the mind link.
“That is none of your business, Alpha Dax.” Is the responds he gets from Alpha Craig and again he tries to get through the block of Assassins in his way, “Get out of my way.” Alpha Craig says but none of them budges.
Harvey even releases some of his Assassin aura, “I don’t take orders from you, Alpha.” Harvey replies as he crosses his arms in front of his chest and takes a wider stance while still looking at Alpha Craig.
“Alpha Dax, tell your men to stand down or I will take this up with the Council of Elders.” He threatens and I wonder how Dax is going to respond to this demand.
“Can you all stand down?” Alpha Dax asks, but we all know it won’t do him any good and none of the men respond to his question.
“Sorry, looks like they don’t want to stand down. I can try again, maybe a pretty please will work.” Dax says and I can feel that our Lycans are laughing their asses off through the Mate–bond.
“Alpha Dax, what do you take me for, a Fool.” Alpha Craig growls.
“Uhm, yeah.” Maleah responds through the mind–link and I see one of her men turn his head towards her, a huge grin on his face.
“Alpha Craig, these men don’t belong to Blood Crescent Pack. They are my personal protection detail and only answer to me.” Maleah says as she gets out of our arms, we reluctantly let her go and Levi follows right behind her as she walks towards Alpha Craig.
Alpha Craig looks her up and down with lust in his eyes and a roar escapes my lips because Titan doesn’t like the way he looks at her.
“Titan, calm down. I am not interested in this Moron and you know that, just calm down. I will be right back.” Maleah says the moment she has turned around and for some strange reason it calms Titan down, I can even sense that Commander and Largo are calming down.
“My men are trained to protect me and you approaching the Pack–house was threat enough for them.” She says.
