“I have to get back to Ariel’s studio and I asked Dad to accompany me, I want the three of you to talk about this.” She says as she gets up and without another word she walks out of the house.
“Is this why you asked me that question this morning?” Levi asks.
I tell him that I told him the truth this morning, that our Alphas had forced Commander to think about sharing a Mate and that we both hate the idea of leaving our Mate on her own.
“I hadn’t counted on a Mate with multiple abilities and the more I thought about leaving Maleah on her own the more I hated that idea, she will become a target as long as she isn’t marked.” I state and I hear Commander growl in my head.
Kay tells us he had had a similar conversation with Titan after Dillon’s accident, that they wanted to share a Mate to keep her safe and that he even thought about how he could make it work.
“We aren’t raised with the idea of sharing a Mate, for us this is a bit more complicated than for a multiple and I had to keep my Mate in mind. How would she react? What would she expect? How would this work out?” Kay explains to us.
“We need to figure out how this will work for all of us as we move forward, but I think we also need to give one another space and privacy. This house has the perfect lay–out, but it is too small for what I have in mind.” Kay says as he pulls his tablet from his backpack and moments later we are staring at the design of a house.
The lay–out of the ground floor is similar to this house, but as he said it is a lot bigger and when he shows us the first floor my jaw drops.
There is one huge bedroom at the back of the house and a lot of smaller bedrooms on the rest of the first floor, not that any of them are considered small. Kay explains that the biggest room will be Maleah’s room and the first three rooms on either side of her room will be for us, giving us privacy if we need or want it.
“If the door to a room is closed it means whoever the room belongs to wants some privacy, whether it is with or without Maleah. If the door to Maleah’s room is open it means we all can join her for the night and the last one to enter the room is allowed to close it.” Kay explains.
“Sounds like you thought about this a lot more than the rest of us.” Levi responds as he looks at the blueprint.
“The attic needs to have the same security measures as the attic here, I wouldn’t want one of our Pups to get their hands on some of those herbs.” Levi mumbles and Kay and I both stare at him, I hadn’t even thought about Pups yet.
“I am not saying that we will have Pups right away, we have to talk to Maleah about that and we need to keep in mind that she has two careers.” He replies as he looks at us.
Kay goes back to the blueprint of the ground floor and tarts to change the lay–out at the back of the house, “She will need an office to make her designs and conduct her business, I would feel better if it is on the ground floor.” He says when Levi asks him what he is doing and soon we are going over the details of the house.

“Where were you planning on building this house?” Levi asks and Kay pulls up a map of our territory to point at a stretch of land on the other side of the Pack–house.
“I had a talk with Dillon when he was recovering and it was my turn to spent the day with him. He has known all along that I wanted to share a Mate and when I told him about the house I designed he asked me the same question, together we found the best spot to build the house.
We didn’t know if I would be lucky enough to share a Mate and who the other males would be, but we decided that it needed to be close to the Pack–house. It would be easier if I had to get to the Pack–house fast and we decided it would be best if my Mate didn’t have to walk a while to come see me, so we came to the conclusion this would be the best spot.” Kay explains, I know the spot he is talking about and it is perfect for us.
The house will be surrounded by trees on all sides, but they aren’t that close together that they will take away natural light to enter the house. We decide to continue building the house without telling Maleah, we want to surprise her when it is done and we take a look at her work space she has upstairs before I take them up to the attic.
It gives Kay the information he needs to make the blueprint for the attic and when we look at the finished picture we agree this is perfect for Maleah.
We are talking about how this might work in this house when Maleah returns and we find out that it is almost dinner time.
“I see that you are all still breathing, that is a good sign. Maleah says as she walks into the living room and, Kay pulls her into his arms only to jump back a second later.
“What the fuck was that?” He yells and Levi is laughing his ass off while Maleah slowly lifts her hand to his face. His eyes widen the moment she touches is face and I can tell he feels the sparks.
She tells him that the sparks she feels with me are stronger, but that has to do with the fact that we have spent more time together and she is confident that with time they will become stronger.
“What? They will become stronger than this.” He asks as he lets his hand move over her arm.
