There were a few other bumps in the road in the days that followed the Introduction Ceremony, but none of them were as bad as the interruption just before midnight that night.
What happened between Ashton and the unknown female is for another time; too much drama to discuss right now.
In the year that followed the Introduction Ceremony, Morgan and Jaylen visited every Pack that showed some kind of disrespect towards the Royals. They made sure that every Alpha and future Alpha got the clear message that the Royals would never tolerate that kind of behavior again.
In the second year after the Introduction Ceremony, there were additions to all the Royal couples.
Casimir and Giselle welcomed a little boy into the world five months after the Ceremony; his name is Watson, with his Mother’s amber eyes and his Father’s black hair.
Morgan gave birth to a baby girl a week later, her name is Blakely, with her Mother’s black hair and her Father’s ice blue eyes. Gillean and Roan adopted a little boy around the same time; his name is Sullivan, with Gillean’s light brown hair and Roan’s chocolate eyes.
Their Delta couples also had little ones a few weeks after Giselle and Morgan, two boys and two girls.
Within a year after the Pups were born, Morgan and Jaylen stepped down and handed their unit over to Commander Amir and Mateja, who had joined her Mate within the ranks of the King’s Army.
They started to follow the current leadership of the Kingdom around, learning their job description as time passed because King Damon wanted to step down five years after Casimir found his fated Mate
King Damon traveled to every Pack with Queen Yara, ensuring that every Alpha knew he was ready to step down. He started with his most loyal Alphas, men who upheld the Laws and who were not trying to get or take what wasn’t theirs.
He didn’t need them to hand the throne over to Casimir; he just wanted to ensure that Casimir and Giselle knew which Packs they could trust and for the Alphas to get to know their future rulers. Casimir and Giselle would come to the Pack midway through King Damon’s visit and only stay for a day.
During their visit, Yara talked to the Luna, the other females in the leadership, and the Omegas. All of them are more willing to talk to her than to the King and more open about certain things that happened within their borders.
Each Pack got additions to their file, from small issues that Yara uncovered to major issues that Damon and Yara figured out together.
Casimir made sure that his leadership read every addition, just to understand which Packs needed to be visited more often and maybe even a surprise visit from a unit.
When King Damon and Queen Yara went to Blue River Pack, they had a small surprise for Alpha Tate. Not the kind of surprise Alpha Tate was waiting for, a title to his Pack on top of their bloodline and he was reluctant to accept the title King Damon was giving him.
King Damon told him he had no choice in the matter, his Daughter was going to be the next Royal Gamma female and with it came the title of Royal Pack; he did point out that Alpha Tate wouldn’t always be the Alpha.

Blue River Pack was connected to the Royals in a way no other Pack had ever been and it made them a Royal Pack by Law. First on the list to receive aid in any way, the first to be heard on any issue within the Kingdom, the first to vote on anything that Packs needed to vote on.
Crescentwood Residence became the property of King Damon, a gift from Mateja who had inherited everythign that once belonged to Lucas, She didn’t want anything connected to her Brother and gave all of it away.
Yara was given free rein on redecorating, she wanted to make it a home for her and Damon and with the birth of their twins it would soon be filled with different sounds. She had finished it a few months before the Coronation of Casimir and Giselle, ready for them to move into Crescentwood Residence.
Many things had changed for the Royals in the five years since the Introduction Ceremony, from toddlers running around the Palace to a King who couldn’t wait to retire, from a Crown Prince who was ready to take over to a young Prince who wanted to go out into the world.
